The validity of visas and entry permits that was extended until the end of December this year has been cancelled. Identity cards that expired on March 1, which were previously considered valid until the end of the year, will now be deemed invalid.

If you are in the country, you have ONE month to renew your document. Residents and GCC citizens who spent less than six months outside the country will also be given one month for renewal.

I think I saw that information this morning, it’s really surprising.

Hi everyone, please permit to ask this question unbehalf of someone.

1) PLease in dubai what is the acceptable minimum salary per month for a bsc business admin or human resources graduate with a 1 yr job experience.

2) is a salary of 4, 000 enough for a single person to survive in Dubai for a month and would there be enough to save up considering the cost of living in Dubai (Accommodation etc already provided by the employer)

3) Do foreign degrees still pay more in Dubai

Thanks a lot support

To answer your questions

1. This is very relative and depends on a host of factors.
In my experience with local companies, its largely based on nationality while most multinationals have a pay scale regardless of where you come from and/or studied.
You can look here https://www.thenational.ae/business/money/uae-salary-guide-2020-how-much-should-you-be-earning-1.952299#13
although this is a guide and in reality things don't work like this for a lot of folks.

2. This is strictly based on your lifestyle. There are people who earn 2k or less that are able to save and people who earn 15k plus that are in debt.
Can you have a life on a 4k salary? Short answer is yes.
Would there be enough savings from the 4k? Entirely up to you.

3. See 1 above

Hello,

1. It varies from company to company. Some companies will pay you ridiculously high, some others will pay you ridiculously low and others will be in the mid range. Nationality and where you got your degree comes into play here more often than not. A local with same qualification and experience will earn a lot more than a Nigerian from my experience. This might not be the case everywhere.

2. Salary of 4000 dirhams is enough for a single person as long as you don't live extravagantly, make some adjustments here and there. People are doing quite well earning less than that in UAE.

3. Yes they do more often than not. Foreign/western experience as well.

Bro. I wan ask you a question jare , Is the annual leave a must for everyone working in UAE. And perhaps, if it is, what's the terms of the leave, perhaps , one intends to travel to his home currently for an occasion on the annual leave. And how many days is it, who covers the expenses, flight and is salary also paid aswell. Thanks.

All workers in UAE are entitled to 30 days paid annual leave. Wether the flight ticket would be paid depend on your position in your company (usually written in your contract). In most cases this is obtainable only for the senior staff. Generally companies pay for your flight ticket after 2 years irrespective of your position.
