The difference between the two is that when you sell, your bank account gets credited with the proceeds and not your brokerage account. This means you will have to be transferring back to your brokerage account every time you want to buy. I have tried DCS before and had to switch back to brokerage account funding to reduce the impact of bank charges.

So, DCS is not advisable for traders but good for long term investors.

Thanks for this, I am facing same issues with one of my brokers.

Some DCS payment always delay.

I will have to switch to brokerage account.

So you want to determine the closing price of the stock today?

Anyway, that is right thing to do to start mopping up cheap value stocks in bits. The price of stock might not get to March low this period considering the rate PFA's are spending up to 15% of their fund buying stocks recently.

Jaiz bank alsmost doubled their profit in their Q2 2020 financials

In my own opinion, I don't think results for banks will move prices. The only hope for now will be declaration of interim dividend which will result in a limping bull.

Who is really buying Ahlaji's shares?

It's people who have seen value at that price and are comfortable with the risk/reward.

My candid advice - If you see 10% intra day tomorrow and next, sell in tranches and hold the rest at your lowest price entry. You can take your cue from UCAP.

The FOMO gang will appear so you can handover to them.

I did too. That is how an efficient market works unlike our NSE.

With depreciating level of naira, i am tempted to hold my investment in usd by selling off most of my stocks on nse and focus on us market.

Good thing I got out yesterday, they released an offering that crashed price... these penny stocks can be something else. I’m also not in NSE now with this devaluation until CBN solves it

First port of call is N520 per USD grin grin grin

It can go either way though grin
I only pity those that will buy high when the reversal starts.

The reversal will take people unawares.
Nigeria is gradually becoming food sufficient, very soon the importation of fuel will stop when dangote refinery kicks off.
Nigeria will be great again. grin
