During my pre-enrollment on Universitaly, i choose Abuja embassy for where I’d like to apply for my visa (my reason is because Vfs handles visa and I know my way around Abuja and have friends I can sleep over in their house).

I received a mail few days after submission saying my pre-enrollment has been forwarded to Abuja Embassy and It seems my DOV will be gotten there.

For legalization, my state falls under Lagos Embassy. I hope this isn’t a problem?

I thought legalization has to do with your state of residence not necessarily state of origin.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I once spoke with Abuja embassy over the phone. I asked the person i spoke with if I could do legalization in Abuja since I would be coming for authentication at MOE and MOFA so i could do all at once.

His response was it depends on my state. He said some Northern states are grouped under Abuja embassy and all other states fall under Lagos embassy including some Northern states.

I asked him if its state of origin and he said no, its dependent on the state you got your academic qualification. I live in Aba, Abia State, my state of origin is Anambra, i schooled in Port-Harcourt. All still falls under Lagos embassy.

You can call Abuja embassy if you have more questions
09 460 2970 or you can email Lagos embassy with your questions. The person I once spoke to in Lagos embassy regarding this over the phone was just responding with “I don’t know” to all my questions.

My major concern with why i asked that question is that I don’t know if its same embassy that legalizes document that issues DOV.
I filled Abuja embassy on my pre-enrollment form and i received a mail saying my application has been verified and sent to Abuja embassy and they mentioned something about DOV

If you have your IELTS or TOEFL result, you can upload it. If not, just submit. All submissions are still redirected from universitaly to your school.

If your school needs it, they may still ask you to provide it. I think it depends if its part of your schools requirement.
Can schools accept IELTS general test in place if IELTS academic?

No. Academic is for studies and General Test is for Immigration/work purposes.

Right. But actually many Italian schools (ex: Politecnico Di Torino) accept either one.

You can use student copy of your Transcript, it must have the school's stamp and signature.
I authenticated my student copy last month

I called one of the official(MoE) early this year and he told me that they don't authenticate Student copy. The student copy is handed to the student while official copy is either sent to Organisation or school that requested for it. However the student can get it by hand if he or she knows how to work around it.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Bamboochi(m): 3:19pm On Jul 23, 2020
I still authenticated mine this year, student copy.
It has official stamp from the school so they know it's genuine. I didn't even know one can get official transcript by hand. Thought it could only be sent to schools and organisations.

Hello guys, thanks for answering my question the other day.

This will be my first time that I am planning to travel out of the country. That is why I am here to ask questions.

Please, what is the most RELIABLE and cost-effective website for booking flight ticket from Lagos to Ancona, Italy?

I am thinking of travelling for studies around December.

Also, do you think we will be able to travel to Italy this year considering this pandemic issue?

Your responses will be greatly appreciated.

You can't know the cheapest price for now because Nigeria international Air Space is yet to be open . However, you can still google to know the most reliable and cost effective Website for there last trip

You think of studying around Jan but have u applied for any institution(s) because that is the first process?

Let wait for directive from Italian government because no announcement have been made for now as per international students.

Intended date doesn't mean you have to travel same date. Because international airspace.is yet to be open , so will advise you to pick a date in October.
