These guys in government, sometimes one just wonders how they reason...

They are quick to follow global best practices when it comes to milking the masses, but the standards quickly dwindle when it comes to service delivery...

God help Nigerians...

Next election you will all still vote for them fools and come back here to Nairaland to shed more Crocodile tears. Dear Seun, please procure more servers to increase your Nairaland storage capacity ahead of the next election because our people will still not learn sense an will vote for PDP or APC and will come back on your platform to cry and lament.
God Bless Seun Osewa for providing the shoulder (Nairaland) for Nigerian masses to cry on since 2005!!!

Paying tax is not the issue. The issue is, what do the masses get in return? Will this money be accounted for?

This is the bone of contention here

I'm telling you. The issue is they can't even account for free oil money with tangible projects, no power supply since the early 2000s when I was old enough to follow developments. Now, they're taxing everything to fund their excesses. The UK, for example, is a heavy taxation country, but public officials are very prudent and they can easily see where the money is going. Here, it's a different case.

6% 0f N500,000 for example is 30,000. Is it a one time fee or every renewal?

When they will be busy acting and fainting when you tell them to account how the tax they collected are been spent.

You tax the citizens and loot it for personal agradizement.

We are not serious in this country.

I can remember someone earlier said that each Nigerian is owing China 15k+ to repay China the money Buhari government borrowed from them. I think I'm beginning to believe that theorem.
.
Like why will we be paying unnecessary stamp duty. We haven't recovered from the stamp duty imposed on us through the bank, now this. In the midst of what's happening in the world, this government is bent on torturing their citizens in their fatherland.
.
Why do we keep taking all the rubbish thrown to us by this heartless people. Can't we fight back and reclaim our country before it goes beyond redemption.
.
I can only conclude that there is little or no patriotic citizen is this country anymore. Every body is just after their own head. I don't blame us anymore, the present and past government made us so. No one believes in this thing called a country anymore.

I am curious to see how this plays out. So tenants are supposed to pay 5% of the rent as Legal fees, 5% as of the rent as Agency fees and still pay 6% of the rent as tax? That's a whopping 16% additional payment. What are your thoughts? Kindly share please.
