Trumpcard05: Capt Hosa Okubor- over to you. Time to send Lawyer to Abuja to represent your brother. It had better be a SAN Edo people need more cases like this from Benin to Abuja to keep the trio of Oshomhole, Ize Iyamu and Okubor busy 2 Likes |

Economy1: Unfortunately this tussle is going to end at the court if ize iyamu wins the election. There is 80% possibility he will be disqualified by the court. I have said it before in my previous post that the fight between Obaseki and oshiomole while the ersthwhile was at APC really favours Obaseki. The foundation of the fight no favour APC nor oshiomole at all. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Charles Ude is not an APC member , such name is not in APC register, he's an interloper so the case is dead on arrival |

This is a very valid issue that the APC should've cleaned up a long time a go. At this point, even if ize iyamu wins by a landslide, the courts will almost certainly rule against him. It is looking like an Obaseki win in my opinion 3 Likes |

Tareq1105: Guy apc better negotiate with this chap out of court, ratification of a supposedly wrong process by NEC doesn't make it right. The summary of that chap is that his party APC does not have right to nominate a candidate, actions of NEC which came later may not deter the court to agree less. Remember NEC decision came when all timelines for primaries had elapsed. The best bet if for the the party to lobby him out of court rather than waiting for the courts decision, taking this matter with kids glove nay be disastrous for the party. 3 Likes 1 Share |

seunmsg: Bros am not a lawyer but based on my little experience on litigation I don't want to start analysing facts but APC failed to put their home in check at the right time which led to litigation upon counter litigation. One of such litigation was what ousted one of the party in the dispute (oshiomole) but do not forget that one of the party in the dispute as even being suspended oo. Anyway na lawyer's work cos facts plenty so it's going to be a very interesting tussle at the court 1 Like 1 Share |

Dbarrzx: You seem to forget NEC decision came after timelines for primaries had elapsed, what that simply means is that there was no primaries ratification doesn't matter. Best bet settle out of court and promise that chap something juicy else that guy fit break all the plates for the table. 1 Like 2 Shares |

emperorlaqrin: I asked the question because you claimed there is an 80% possibility that Osagie Ize-Iyamu will be disqualified by the court. From your answer, it is obvious you don't know what you are talking about. To correct you, the chances of POI getting disqualified by the court is less than 5% if there is any chances at all. Nominating a candidate by a political party is simply the internal problem of the party. The court can not chose a candidate for the party. POI was duly admitted as a member of the party. He followed all the internal procedures laid down in the party constitution and was validly nominated by the party. Why will he then be disqualified? The chances of Obaseki getting disqualified is by far higher than POI. Obaseki has three very strong issues to contend with in court. One, the issues relating to him and his deputy's qualifications. Two, he obtained PDP form after the party had ended sales of nomination forms and screening. Three, he participated in the nomination processes of two different political parties for the same election. I doubt if he can manage to scale through these three legal obstacles. 3 Likes 1 Share |
