I guess we are all in this together till ICAN resolves the problem.

Do you mind if I send you a PM so that we can keep each other posted of the latest development with this ICAN issue?

I think the problem is from Wes because even my school Auchi poly said they have not received any email from Wes in a while

If this is your current employment, I would advise you wait till you get ITA or about to get ITA (when you have enough scores). If it is a past employment, please get it now and keep

Good Afternoon able men and women, please i want to open another express entry profile as the current one will expire on 14th of August
Is it advisable to close the current one or wait till it expires.
Then while opening another one, should we use another email address? Then is it necessary to state the we have previously been in the pool before in the new profile? Thanks in advance

Hi

Please guys. Has anyone been received a message about Canada biometrics.

How do you plan to go about it since the VFS Global office is closed due to Covid-19.

Who knows when this office will open?

The Canada VACs in both Lagos and Abuja are still closed. VFS Office is actually opened but not for Canada. Option is to wait it out, they’ll open eventually except you’re willing to travel to a neighbouring country to do it

Hello everyone, I received the outcome of my EOR on Thursday and my Writing has increased to 7.5. I applied for EOR a few hours after I saw my result online and the whole remark process took 6 days. To everyone that encouraged me to go for a remark, I say a big Thank You, your words of encouragement gave me strength. This exam was also my first attempt.

Congratulations. You really ace all the components. Kudos to you.

Yes that was the method I used. They accept pdf and jpegs so I just took a clear photo of my cerltificate and sent in. It was accepted.

Did you write your Wes reference no on the certificate before scanning and uploading?

Why not wait till it expires? If you want to change email addresses you can, but its not necessary. There is no question asking whether you've been in the pool

I think it is quite normal that she will write some sort of exams. Even engineers that got PR need to pass their Professional engineering certification in Canada which I heard is quite tedious before they can practice as engineers. It might be the same for your sis where she needs to do some certification to upgrade her kpali once she gets there n has nothing to do with her ability to get PR.
So she can get PR prior to writing the exams?

Work experience during school no matter how long is not acceptable under express entry

I don't know about first degree but postgraduate studies acquired during one's working career can be used to claim points.

Good evening all, Weldone to the gurus and congratulations to everyone in post ITA stage. May grace also locate all of us at the very beginning stage, may GRACE find us all.

To everyone that had written ielst Computer Based Test before, plesse I need your assistance in responding to this question:

I have been using ieltsonlinetest.com to practice, this evening I decided to take the practice test that came with the registration ONLY to discover that I score 33/40. Infact I cant even explain my feelings now, me that I thought I am good to go considering my least score of 37/38 while practicing with ieltsonlinetest.com.

So I decided to take the test one question each I.e I will take question 1 and click submit, I do this to all the 40questions only to find out that
1. If you hear 9am the system will mark it wrong and expect that one should write it like this 9.00 without putting the a.m at the back
2. If your hear half past 7 and you write 7.30 the system also mark it wrong
3. It is also case sentisive
I am worried because only God knows how many rules one have to follow if this is thesame in the real exam

MY QUESTION
Is the above thesame in the real exam ?

It's not like that in the main exam. While I think ieltsonlinetests.com is a fair enough practice site, it also has it's numerous flaws. EG, typos, subjective answers etc.

Just two nights before my main CDT ielts, I practiced with ieltsonlinetest, I was getting 30/40 in listening and reading. Me sef shock. I had to stop, and jejely went back to practicing my beloved Cambridge texts.

My advice: Keeping practicing Cambridge materials (I practiced on Excel spreadsheet: to get my typing speed), the a day before the exam, familiarise yourself with the CDT sample on your British council portal.

Thanks boss. I have started filling my express entry profile and this issue is d last thing I am trying to figure out. Maybe I am being too careful but I don't want to make a mistake I won't be able to correct in the future...u know these people really hold u to your words.

I would still appreciate any other inputs regarding where or not I can combine two NOCs (18months experience in NOC 2143 [mining] plus 20 months in NOC 4021[language instructor at a university]).

Both r skill Level A. NOC 2143 is primary NOC n aligns with both first degree (Mining) n Msc. Civil engineering.

Thank you.

Yep. You can combine NOCs. You can use either as primary NOC since they're both above 1 continuous year.

Is it computer based or paper based you are writing? If it paper then words there are not case sensitive but for all those 9 am and all, you need to put it exactly as it should be...I mostly used ieltsonlinetest for my listening and it was good for me got 8.5, also a section I practiced before on ieltsonlinetest was repeated in the exam! A whole 10 questions!!! So ieltsonlinetest was very very effective for my listening!

Well done!

I practised for one month (morning, day and night). For listening, I used ieltsonlinetests.com at first then later switched to Cambridge practice tests on Youtube, although the former was more difficult, however it prepared me for tough questions.

Reading: I went through all the practice questions on IELTS Liz, took some tests on ieltsonlinetest.com and also a lot of Cambridge tests on Youtube. I struggled with the Matching Headings questions but E2IELTS on Youtube has some amazing tips that made it seamless for me.

Writing: I used only Ieltsadvange, subscribed for his 5 days course on his website. I ensured that I wrote a letter and essay every day except for Saturdays and Sundays, while my husband reviewed them for me.

Speaking: I watched all the videos on IELTS Liz's Youtube page and also used Jay of E2Ielts' PPF method for Part 2 of Speaking.

Overall, I'll say that an essential key to passing this exam is by practising constantly and working on your problem areas.

Hello, pls how do I go about this PNP stuff I studied microbiology and I'm working as a chemicals technologist and microbiologist in a manufacturing company.pls do you know any province I can apply to
ednut1:
you dont have to be in canada to get nomination. Either meet province application requirements or you get selected from the pool . A friend got pnp invite from ontario last month with crs 471 and noc accountants.

Same thing happened to me this month.Wes claimed to have sent Unilag verification mail but my contact said they didn’t receive it.He went further to send Wes a mail that they didn’t get the verification they claimed to have sent.
To prove him right, wes updated my page that same day that another verification mail has been sent to my school.Ghis time, unilag got it and my eca was ready 3days after.

We all seems to believe wes when they claim to send verification to our schools. It is becoming obvious that wes could be lying most of the time(in my case they did lied).

Hi, pls I need your advise.

Just before lockdown, I converted some cash to dollars and opened a domiciliary account and put in about 10kusd. This cash was raised from sale of land and some savings due to the falling naira. Also my dad gave me some cash in usd and thus pof is complete but this account is less than 6 months and I hope to get ita soon as I am in the 470s, I am trying to cross my tees, is this account statement ok, apart from adding gift deed from dad, do I need to include my salary account also? Dad paid into my domiciliary account in person, i hope a gift deed is ok for that, do I also need to explain how this money came to be?

Secondly, I had an online masters from another country as everything was done online from registration to exams. Positively evaluated, now during the filling of the forms pre ita, in the education section, what do I fill in town of study? Considering I did everything online in another country, do I fill distance there instead a valid location of the university? I am asking because of recent rejection of someone online that was asked to submit 2 countries pcc? Pls help.
Country of study should be Nigeria since you weren’t physically present else u’d provide police report for that country.
Gift deed is okay for the transfer your dad made... I’m not sure about the account since it’s not up to 6 months old. Maybe others can help
