Yes Sir, that incidence happened around 2002 thereabouts outside the Large hall of Benue State University.....Those two guys were chased down the river Bank and one jumped into the water to swim across and drowned, the other was apprehended by those guys moulding bricks by the river bank, was handed over to the students and before the police could arrive he was burnt to death.
That very incidence happened around this period February-March that year.....the guy that killed in school his Nick Name starts with K, he was even a radio presenter on Radio Benue I used to listen to his program back then on Radio, very cool and calm guy, I never knew he was a Cultist until after that shooting incident.

The gory and unfortunate incident you just hinted on actually happened between the SEC n BAN @ The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro around 2004/2005 within Ilaro town, the incident happened very close to a computer training institute known as IPS (Institute of Professional Studies) owned by a Ghanaian Law Lecturer, Lawyer Obeng. Kayode was the name of the Eiye guy that was butchered by the Buccaneers hit squad, but he is popularly known within n outside the campus as Old School cos he used to move around with this very neat and well-trimmed afro hairstyle, just like that of Africa of OAU. Old School was a very neat, handsome and jovial student of Banking n Finance Dept, and the Social Director of his Departments Association. He was so jovial n carefree with everyone to the extent that he even had many friends among other fraternities, including Buccaneers n Aiyes.

Before the gory incident that led to the bloody butcher of Old School by the Buccas (his head, neck, legs, arms etc. including his scrotums were severed into tiny meats from his entire body), there has been a long time bad blood between the Eiye n Buccas, cos the Eiye hit squad had previously butchered two high-ranking officers of the Buccaneers (named Banji n AY i.e. Ayo) in 2003/2004 within the campus, same day n same time, very close to the Rectors office around the school Pavilion ground. The scoreboard then was reading 2-0 and this happened during the very bloody reign of TBS, Tunbosun as the flying IBAKA of EIYE and BORO as the BIG EYE of BAN (a very rugged n intelligent Buccaneer). I personally know the two of them then, cos I was the then Deputy Speaker of Students Representative Council (SRC) and the AB Feather of my Illya, Illya Oronna and both of them usually frequent our Wednesdays gyration @ the Shrine.

The Buccaneers did not retaliate immediately, reason being that the school was closed down indefinitely after the sad incident of Banji n AY, and the Buccas had no choice than to mellow down for the right time to strike. Fortunately for BAN and unfortunately for SEC, the Buccaneers dropped an old n elderly member of Eiye, who happens to be someone that had long graduated, but still stays within the town for only God knows what during the forced vacation, around Orita-Pahayi side within Ilaro, when most Eiye members were not in town, thereby making the score to read 2-1.

Students resumed back to school after some weeks, including many SEC n BAN members, but Buccaneers were still looking for a good opportunity to even the scores on ground.

This opportunity presented itself when TBS, the flying IBAKA, alongside with his personal Doves and some members of SEC went to town around a place called Library, very close to Musa Street, a Buccaneers' n Aiyes' stronghold (around 2001-2007, Aiyes n Buccaneers shared the same territory and were living as next-door neighbours, with no recorded case of fraternity war between the two of them, they were very close n respect each others boundary).

The Buccaneers were informed of the invasion of
TBS n other Eiyes in their territory n they saw this as an opportunity for them to even the scores on ground, they mobilized themselves to this bar n a bloody shootout started between Eiyes n Buccas, during the shootout, many Eiye guys retreated back to Orita side, their stronghold for reinforcement, cos they came unprepared, but unfortunately left TBS alone to slug it out with the Buccaneers, TBS was with an English pistol n one other local pistol that very day, and he singlehandedly fought the Buccaneers like a gallant soldier, shooting from two guns, both left n right.

But unfortunately for him, the Police have been informed of the inter-frat war in town, and immediately TBS saw the Police pickup car coming, he couldn't immediately retreated, but was unfortunately caught between the Police n the Buccaneers, and besides, he was highly drunk from the many drinks @ the bar, he ran into a corner within the Buccaneers territory @ a place called Lower mission, but was double crossed by a Bucca guy called Blacky, Blacky was able to overpower the flying IBAKA and TBS was shot right into his left ear, while lying on the ground.

The score became 2-2 and many Eiye n Buccaneers fled the town cos the Police n OPC were now everywhere arresting from both sides, even, the members of NBM fled too, despite the fact that they were neutral in the whole war and the town became quiet.

I'M COMING BACK TO FULLY RELATE WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE TBS INCIDENT, STARTING FROM WHAT THE POSTER SAID BELOW ABOUT OLD SCHOOL n THE MANAGEMENT LECTURER'S 'ONLY' SON THAT WAS DROPPED BY SEC DURING THE BUCCANEERS ST.

Concerning the above, this is the true picture of what actually transpired.

The late Old School was never a rugged Eiye as recorded by the above poster, but was just a normal SEC member, who was more interested in normal student flexing n campus politics. Just like I said previously, he was a jovial, friendly n carefree, but very popular guy on campus who had many friends, even among other frats, including the so-called Buccaneers that later butchered him.

What really happened is this. The Buccaneers were organized their annual party, ST and the venue was a place immediately after, and very close to Adeyemi Extension, along Orita-Pahayis side (Eiyes Stronghold), and many Buccaneers from different decks across the state have been invited and were already in town on that very day, WITH YELLOW BERRETS n YELLOW TOWELS shining everywhere in town. The venue of the party was a hall called Femi-Mecho, and Femi-Mecho was an event hall directly within Eiyes territory (A clear case of BAN deliberately pricing the EIYES), but, for some reasons best known to them, the Eiyes decided to let them have their party in their territory undisturbed.

The management lecturer's son that was murdered was a newly initiated Buccaneer, his name is Saburi, and he was among those that were in charge of hall arrangement n decoration.
But unfortunately, some external Buccaneers decided to take a stroll into Adeyemi Extension, Eiyes stronghold before the commencement of their, that was around 5pm that day. When these external Buccaneers with some Buccaneers within Ilaro Poly got to a particular bar within Adeyemi Extension, they saw some Eiye guys playing snooker, and maybe due to the fact that they were already tipsy n over confident of their many population within the town due to their ongoing party, the Buccaneers priced those Eiye guys playing snooker and these Eiye guys saw this as an insult for Buccaneers to venture into their stronghold n be harassing them, they retaliated back and an bloody fight started between SEC n BAN within SEC territory.

Among the SEC guys that were playing snooker that very day was a guy called Old School (NOT THE SAME OLD SCHOOL, KAYODE THAT WAS LATER BUTCHERED) who was an external bird from another school that came to greet his friend among the SEC members within Ilaro Poly, he was actually the one that killed Saburi, the lecturer's son, and this happened cos the Saburi himself was already dead drunk even before the party started. THE OLD SCHOOL THAT POSTER TALKED ABOUT WAS NOT IN TOWN THAT VERY DAY, BUT WAS FAR AWAY IN LAGOS.

Saburi was dropped by this particular external old school that day and all SEC members fled the town for fear of reprisals, the Buccaneers foods n drinks got wasted, since the party could no longer hold and those plenty rice n meats were wastefully shared among the indigenes (A whole cow was killed by the Buccaneers for that particular party, and everything got wasted).

The Buccaneers spread into town, angrily looking for any Eiye guy that will be used to count scorws, but could not find any, that was on Thursday, only for Kayode, the Ilaro Poly Old School to surface on Saturday because of one documents he came to retrieve from his house, the marauding Buccaneers were informed by a lady living very close to his house of his arrival, and the buccas mobilized their whole army to his house, threw him down from his balcony to other bloodthirsty Buccaneers waiting downstairs n butchered him to pieces like a stubborn cow in an abbatoir, RIGHT IN THE PRESENCE OF HIS YOUNGER BROTHER, WHO IS ALSO A BUCCANEER (Same father n mother).

The eventual score later became 3-3 from both sides.
