Mo3891: Exactly, this thing is about compromise not entitlement. If there was a prior agreement with respect to rotation, then yes, being entitled comes into play but that is not the case. The constitution allows anybody that is qualified to contest for an election regardless of where they are from or wether someone from his zone is an incumbent. If he/she feels they stand a good chance, then they have every right to contest. There is still time for the Igbo's to start mending bridges and building new ones. Between now and 2023 is about 3 years which sufficient if they are really serious. The PDP agreement is just rotation between North and South not across the 6 zones. PDP is all about winning the next election and if they don't they don't think a SE candidate will win, no show for them be that. APC is on lock for the SW. 1 Like |

gabicon:. This thing you put up now did not Validate my question, whatever role you guys played were simply for your Son's stolen mandate. it has nothing to do with party politics. when Ekwueme and other PDP bigwigs were sponsoring the party , you guys were busy shouting out your lungs on radio Kudirat and occupying the street with ur nonsense NADECO while others were in the other party with the likes of Falae and co. now tell me what you invested in PDP to deserve the ticket |

Nwodo has said it all, nothing more to add. Igbo have passed the ball and it is now in their court. So, from whatever they return is what we will decide the way forward. Igbos have shown more love to Nigeria than any other group but what did we get in return? Hate, envy, jealousy and wickedness. They joined forces with the sole purpose of keeping us down. However, it is no longer business as usual, something will definitely give this time around. Igbos embraced GEJ, not because he is an Igbo man but simply because he ran an all inclusive government which the Igbos have always asked for, and I don't think that too much. We stood with him through thick and thin, even when facts on ground showed he did more for the North than any other zone. When the results were being announced, and it became obvious he was going to lose, many places in the East became quiet like a graveyard. I could feel the frustration, anger and sadness in many people. I believe it was at this point that many Igbos joined IPOB because they totally lost faith in Nigeria. Now, imagine what will happen in 2023 if/when the Igbos are sidelined again. I don't need any soothsayer to tell me what is going to happen. That will definitely be the proverbial last straw that will break the camel's back. What Nwodo said is obviously what is going to happen and that is why IPOB is praying that Igbos should be sidelined so that they can achieve a consensus in the demand for Biafra. 3 Likes |

No amount of threat can make the south easterners become the president of this country until they decided among themselves to have a leader as godfather and a presidential candidate supported by all. Even in America there is god fatherism in existence especially at the electoral college. RICH PEOPLE FROM THE SOUTH EAST HATE TO ACCEPT ANYONE AS UNANIMOUS LEADER |

Mo3891: What is all these with gentle man agreement,as if there was no democracy. Obasanjo was voted as president, after that alot of people contested including Buhari but Yar'Adua emerged. It was only just for the vice president to become president after the death of Yar'Adua..how did gentle man agreement come in here You are just using ur head to make people think u no so much in nigeria. Note: When Buhari issued threats of war in 2007&2011 after elections what happend nothing. Buhari's threats of running a unitary government... the frogs and the baboons will swim in blood... Christians should vote Christians & Muslims should vote Muslims...what happened after election...Jonathan was declared winner in 2011 in the afternoon who fought war..Buhari wined and slept.. Until he aligned with Tinubu,Ameachi, oshomohle dem ..that he was able to succeed.. Buhari fought his way out against odds to become president..take it.. States like Benue,Kogi,Jos, kwara,Taraba,Niger,Kaduna,Nassarawa. share in the plight of what the Igbos are going tru and are ever ready to vote in a credible igbo candidate, but not with threats. Mind u Buhari gave threats and got nothing..until he mellowed down.. My advice is Igbos should stop promoting hate, names calling..and imbibe the spirit of tolerance...stop castigating Buhari..build alliance politically with all tribes of Nigeria. As much as people don't trust an Igbo presidency for the job..they will surprise Nigerians that they are more than capable.. 2 Likes |

Tell Igbo they will not get Presidency in 2023 and to go ahead and join Kanu now....no need to delay. Igbo is dispensable in Nigeria. What do you contribute to national wealth? Nothing! No oil, no vat, no livestock, no agriculture, no mined mineral. Beside mouth and trouble what value is Igno to Nigeria. 3 Likes |

Ezemust: It's still the same thing now. Present a candidate and Yoruba too present a candidate for APC and PDP and let democracy takes it course. Are we no longer in Democracy. I don't know why you are afraid of defeat if you have done your assignment well. Align with South South or North and work out your way. A let Yorùbá do theirs too. It's a contest not selection. 3 Likes |
