1. Victor Osadero 19-Men Assembly are recognized by the Federal Government, which through the police, army etc implement the law.

2. Every resolutions of the new speaker carries the weight of Law.

3. No Bank will give Obaseki Loan Without the resolutions emanating from the new Speaker led Assembly..

4. They can initiate the process of impeaching Obaseki if they so desire...

u don't even get it, they are not elected members again ,their seat have been declared vacant since and a letter sent to inec in that regards to conduct bye elections to replace them, they went and challenged the case in court which is still with d federal high court. Until the court decides they are not members and cannot be inaugurated

The game plan has changed to "take down Oshomole" for the Edolites, like it was for anenih in 2012 when Oshomole was the underdog from NLC.

Obaseki had better use this underdog strategy efficiently, one error usually takes it away..

If you are in doubt, re-study Lagos Governorship election 2015 and why APC only won with less than 100k votes despite being Tinubu's state..

Obaseki lost that underdog card with some of the actions he has taken since the beginning of his administration.

• Swearing-in 10 out of 24 legislators thus barring them from providing the representation for which their people elected them.

• Leading a bunch of renegades within the party to remove the national chairman of the party.

• Various acts of intimidation perpetrated against state legislators and party men considered loyal to the then national chairman of the party and even the chairman himself. This includes the childish action of parking a fully loaded refuse truck in front of the then national chairman's house.

• Banning the then national chairman from visiting Edo State and threatening the national chairman with arrest if he visits Edo State without executive clearance.

• Moving state legislators loyal to him (now only 5) to government house and using thugs to vandalize the State House of Assembly building to prevent the 19 other lawmakers from sitting.

Do all of the above actions and so many more look to you like the actions of a political underdog?

Oga, there is no godfatherism in this case. While the governor was busy fighting oshomole with no evidence to prove that oshomole collected money from him or imposed policies on him against his wish, he went ahead deny the elected members their rights to represent their people.

The truth is the governor is overrated and people are pushing him to perdition. There is no sympathy anywhere for him. How do you explain it that the whole DOP ( a bini man) forgot the items needed to seek prayers and blessings from the palace? It is all about embarrassing him to confuse him the more.

If you know Benin of Oshomole, you will hate Obaseki Benin infrastructurally. Ekenhua road to the Barack up to Gelegele is not motorable and the only thing you see is Oshomole red roof and nothing more but still the man is living in fools paradise. This law makers brohaha that transpired today is a clear indication that APC, Oshiomole/ Ize Iyamu and their followers have realized that they can't win this election.
