Sammy07:the roads you mentioned are the streets roads. oyinlola did that too. ila-odo kwara boundary is still here not mapped out. the road only start from old garage to machine tools. 2 years down the lane, they haven't reach ikirun side of the road. Osogbo high school and other schools was built with sukuk loans he obtained from Islamic bank, up till today, he hasn't pay the debt. it's very much. some roads you mentioned here are meant for the local government to built these set of roads, during that time, the clueless ex Governor hijacked the funds meant for local government and reduced them to caretaker chairman. he hijacked the funds and used it for these roads. it was his partner construction firm, Ratcon construction that construct that roads. 5 Likes |

Amotolongbo:When did he started the complain please? Was it not in 2015 when Nigeria economy has already been affected? Governor that pays workers salary before month end, He gives workers 13 month salary, Initiated different programs to better the lifes of citizens. With all Aregbesola did in Osun, he doesn't deserves all these criticism if one is not ignorant of happenings there. He deserves our collective commendations. |

Johnnyessence:Sammy07, Ask him where the said road's oyinlola built were Today? If there's any, would Aregbesola concentrate on road projects? Aside major roads, he constructed 10km of roads in all 31local Government in Osun (township roads). You know why these people are always against him, Oyinlola was a prodigal spender without any achievements in barely 8yrs in office. He's found in Ada micon golf Every Friday for party. Aregbesola managed Osun economy and cut all excess IN EVERY GOVERNMENT PARASTATALS. There was drastic reduction in Corruption. This was what pained majority of them. Their slogan was "Ijoba tiko danu toun da titi". |

Sammy07: Shouldn’t it be obvious that if the state is flirting with insolvency, despite all the ‘achievements’ and loans attributable to Aregbesola, then it stands to reason he didn’t manage the states resources and apply finances appropriately! Seems like he was just interested in building structures and edifices that didn’t have any economic enabling or catalysing effect! 6 Likes |

ThatFairGuy: I wouldn't lie, as an non indigene, I just usually wish I was living in Osun state then 2013. I know how how Osun is in 2007/08 and how it is in 2013. He might make the state into debt. But he modernized Osun. Back then, Oyinlola only focus on institutions and he usually do TV program every Saturday then, I've forgotten but I think he usually ask them how they spent money or so. But Oyinlola focused on institutions. With his Oyin ni o slogan. And many buses with it. |

Sammy07:That was opening forum (Gbagede Oro). He built uniosun, but would you believe that when Aregbesola was in office, he matched most faculties in satellite campuses to that of Oshogbo. This is logical, this means he also add facilities to it. I remember this, people are INGRATE. Before Oyinlola left, Osun school fees was like that of private universities. Aregbesola subsidized the school fees to what it is till today. I always feel somehow when I see Aregbesola being criticize, he doesn't deserve any. I followed his governance from inception to the last minute, he's the best governor Osun had. I know what I'm saying. Seems like I'll write about his 8yrs in office, these ignorance is too much |

ThatFairGuy: Yeah, gbagede oro. I've used one of his policy before. Free train from Lagos to Osogbo. Na so I carry car #300 from Osogbo to Ondo. And I could remember I think people were able to watch football in TV in Osun state then. Anyways, If you do good or bad people will criticize so it's normal. What ruined him, he embarked on many projects including the airports. But if you'll write about his 8yrs in office. Let it be detailed and accurate (pics will also help) 1 Like |

Sammy07:But you failed to tell us how much he spent doing that bro. You failed to tell us how much he generated through IGR, FAAC (state and the 30local governments), loans which Osun State is still servicing. Does all he gave commensurate with such huge revenues and loans. Gboyega Oyetola knows and feels the effect. I’d earlier made posts on this with one of my handles in those days of Aregbesola. I was a supporter of his administration in his first tenure until I was shown the scams prior to his second term election and had to back off. There are more to what we are seeing. |

Sammy07:Apt. What happened was that he embarked on those projects IMMEDIATELY he assumed office because he has his template to govern Osun down ALREADY. (He gave the book out to citizens then). They're already going on before the crisis erupted. He had to even abandon MANY projects. Thanks a bunch. definitely 1 Like 1 Share |
