Hello friends , i need some advice, my cousin is planning to buy a fairly used laptop this saturday at onitsha main market.

how can he select a good one , what are the things to check?

Also,some models are no go Area despite the fact that their configurations might be high,best you consult a trust worthy engineer because there are models with factory errors such as DISPLAY, USB errors after a short period of time

There is a software that run diagnosis... Insist on having it checked. Anything lower than 75% shows the hard disk is bad and may result in slow booting

.Checkout the battery, make sure it charges
.Test the usb ports, cd/dvd rom, bluetooth, webcam if applicable
.Confirm the RAM and ROM size by checking computer properties.
.Flick lid frequently to ensure it isn't weak and screen doesn't flicker
. Lastly buy a popular product just incase
