The Bible book of Matthew 25:31-46 is an illustration (Parable) that needs to be fully understood. So it's not about literal charity works Sir!

Jesus is not here physically but there is a GROUP of anointed men that he is using to shepherd his earthly followers today, everyone need to know them and WORK with them, failure to recognize them can make us to either engage in things not supporting Jesus' work or outrightly opposing them!
Either way Jesus will come and tell those who failed to acknowledge them "i never knew you, go away from me you workers of iniquity" Matthew 7:23}
