"If I can bring that experience and winning mentality here, then I will be happy."

Mikel obi
He might start his managerial career here

Exactly, a fan also hinted at this but getting to the Premier League should be top priority at the moment

This thread is becoming something else, I cannot believe Joebie was banned for speaking his mind, The mods should apply common sense by going through the initial comments that prompted the outbursts of people they are placing on ban

People that contribute sensible posts are placed on ban while the bitter and depressed ones that contribute literally nothing are allowed to roam around

Happy banning
useless club banter is what you called sensible post?. I politely asked you to take a break but you took it emotionally. If you dont like the new regime, why not Waka comot from thread?

Oga all dis players u re mentioning have a better CV Dan ndidi..its only on dis thread u c ndidi has world class..to me he's just average... When it comes to club bidding for u,ur CV comes handy..it goes beyond having 1000 interception in a season

Y do u think Mikel is still getting a decent club @ d age of 33? If not for his CV

If he's lucky to leave Leicester for a bigger club and he start raking in recognized trophies/personal laurels, he will b recognized... As far as FIFA is concerned,EVERYTHING WISE,ndidi is not in d top 10 best DMF in d world...d likes of kante, busquest ,casemiro, fabinho, blaise matuidi etc are well decorated players with rich cvs cool

Mikel obi is class but stoke is not a decent club

Mikel obi should’ve gotten an epl club than playing for stoke in the championship

And you are right about him having a good cv

1. I am the moderator of the Sports section and I have not acted outside the rules.

2. You guys insult yourselves daily on this thread but I overlook it because I know you all are friends, it's mostly light banter, there's an in-house mechanism for resolving issues and common sense will prevail at the end of the day.

3. Andrewbab44's outburst and insult to Xeun was without provocation, unnecessary and plain silly.

His quoted post above contravenes rules 2 and 20 of the forum.

4. Joebie, even after being shown the reason for which andrewbaba44 was banned still doubled down and insulted the moderator which contravened the same Rule 2 and 20; and to what purpose?

Solidarity with his friend?

Anyway, he boasted he doesn't give a damn even if he's banned for eternity so he should take his 1 week ban like a man and stop whinning.

The stubborn house fly that refuses to let go off the corpse will also go six feet under.

A pleasant day to Y'all.

By the way, Semid4lyfe, why did you not push our end of the year award thread to the front page? To think that the award was less lurid but sensational on other sites except the original site/forum makes we wanna hit you on groin really hard

You messed up there

I am a sectional moderator and I do not have the power to push threads to the front page.

Only the administrator and super moderators who have forum wide privileges can do that.

Also, I know the big man is not favourably disposed to NL award threads being posted to the home page and this may have been the reason the super moderators did not push it.

Sorry about that.

But someone has been banned for speaking his mind

Someone was also banned for insulting Xeun but so many people do go scot free for throwing insults

Maybe Xeun is superior because he owns Nairaland or the mod is just a confused fellow

I can't help but notice that your style of writing is very similar to Andrew's grin

Crystal Palace are relegation contenders without Zaha for goodness sake why would anyone move there?

I'm not threatened by your so called presence but highly disappointed by your lack of ability to take correction. Be a good steward of edo state (my state) and stop inciting hate or throwing dig at people unnecessary. That was how you tag another monicker "super delusional" in your post to joebi. I can actually make this place hell for you if you don't stop this attitude.

Rule 19: Don't use alternate accounts to access Nairaland after being banned. If you do, make sure we don't find out.

Rule 19 comes with a caveat which I have emboldened.

Any new moniker that bears any resemblance to a banned moniker will be banned indefinitely.

Rule 20. Complaints to or against moderators must be sent privately. Please don't disobey, disrespect, or defame them.
