For those that use CSL. After selling, do I have to wait 3 days before making a withdrawal? I sold some stocks today to raise money for a family emmergency. I can see the proceeds from my sale as cash in my csl customer trading portal. Can I withdraw the funds tommorow morning? Or wait for 3 days? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 7:30pm On Aug 17, 2020 |
leparj: It is T+3days If you have Direct cash settlement with CSCS. If you don't have DCS, request for withdrawal might take 48 hours. If you see the fund In your portal, you can request to withdraw. |

Heishere: In most cases the crediting of investors cscs account with bonus shares declared by any company don't happen as with cash dividend which is normally paid on the specified payment date. Bonuses are credited anytime after payment date. The execution of the corporate action is between the registrars of the company, SEC and cscs. So just wait for it. It can be credited anytime. 1 Like |

leparj: Yes you can withdraw it tomorrow. There is a drop down menu for withdrawal. Fill all the required details and submit. When you do, send a mail to this guy. Fortune.Ibeh@fcmb.com to let him know so you can get your funds 3 days after. |

will007:When u see oil prices crashing and u have forex u don’t want to put in equities, the best thing to do is to lock it up in dollar funds to at least preserve your capital from losing value after devaluation. It’s also a way of diversifying your assets and for someone that also have forex expenses. 5 Likes |

ositadima1: Don't know much about yellowcard.io. You don't need any middle man to buy bitcoin now, binance has simplified things for Nigerians. You can do local transfer and you can also buy with cards. 2 Likes |

In the financial statement released by Jumia last week, the company’s operating loss reduce for the first time in six quarters. While revenue declined by 10 percent when compared with the second quarter of 2019 to €34.9 million, better than the 18.7 percent predicted by experts. Accordingly, the company’s operating losses declined by 44 percent year-on-year to €37.6 million. This is largely due to the company’s new strategy of cutting down costs both in the advertisement and other aspects of the organisation to the lowest levels since 2017. Also, profit on fulfillment expense rose to €6 million during the quarter, up from €0.7 million decline posted in the same quarter of 2019 and indicated that Jumia is no longer making losses on fulfilling orders. Jumia GMV declined by 13 percent year-on-year to €228 million in the quarter under review, one of the main reasons investors held back on the stock. GMV measures the value of goods sold on the platform at a specified period. https://investorsking.com/investors-hold-back-on-jumia-shares-as-gmv-drops-by-13-in-q2-2020/ |

nosa2: CBN has a new policy which i feel with vibrate through the economy a bit. Forex recieved through inflow can't be withdrawn, it can only be transfered. I like a number of Nigerians have inflow dollars in our account, but we can't withdraw. You can only transfer, shop online and send to 4% per annum portfolios. Some speculators will start looking for ways to move their loot to Naira now. I know there are a number of backdoor, but they will shed of some money moving the money around i.e. aboki, bitcoin, etc. |
