He will play. I believe Alex Telles who is 27 yrs is leaving. He has only one year left on his contract so Porto is likely to cash in this window but time will tell. Also Zaidu's agent is Jorge Mendes. Same agent for CR7. That's part of why Zaidu could bag a good personal financial package as regards his weekly pay. A huge upgrade from what he earned at Santa Clara. And uhmmm... Zaidu is on that 30-man list. Just wait for it. Other surprises on the list abound but I don't want to spill them here. forgiveness: 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Gernot Rohr to invite two defenders from the Bundesliga Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr recently revealed that he has been able to convince two players to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria. According to a reliable source, the Franco-German have his eyes fixed on two defenders from the Bundesliga but has chosen to withhold the details of the players for reason best known to him. The Former Nantes and Bordeaux coach said he’s looking towards September camping for the Super Eagles players, and might invite the players to the camp. Speaking to the Daily Times , Rohr revealed “Two new players want to camp with us now and this is a very important news for us. I travelled to meet them in March, I met one of them but didn’t meet the other until three weeks ago.” He also said he has a provisional list of 30 players at this time, but will not reveal it until the go ahead is given for international football. Hopefully in September or October. Gernot Rohr has been in charge of Nigeria’s men’s national team since August 2016, leading Nigeria to qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and chasing a fourth Africa Cup of Nations title win 2021. forgiveness: With the salary(that's if it's true o), I think he'll play. No club will pay that much only to bench the player. |

Olulong: If he plays, it will be a record. Porto loves benching Nigerian players a lot. He will be one of the few Nigerians that breaks into their first team. By the way there is a Nigerian called ebuka alphonsus in their youth team. He is a midfielder and i hope he also breaks into their first team next season |

Interesting. Some in Nigeria slate NFF and Rohr for this approach, while one of our rivals, Ghana, are envying and planning to follow the same approach Olulong: 2 Likes |
