Why didn't Ighalo to win it when he played age grade competitions for us??

The waste man is at it again. This time, the fraud was caught fighting while drunk outside of a bar, assaulting police, resisting arrest in Greece. I just can’t help but imagine the reactions from English media if it was some black player.

Is this not worse than Isaac Success's case? Imagine assaulting a policeman in a foreign country

Where is that joke of a Britico wannabe that always comes here to talk in the nonsense as though bad behavior had to do with race?

You are right but he played the remaining matches as wing back.

I already told you why he was nominated in 2013 and we both know he wasn't nominated as a winger the second time

You have nothing else to say

The fact he was nominated as winger speaks alot. That's the fact you are trying hard to change but kolework. grin

Forgiveness is just going around in circles just to prove that he hasn't lost the argument..

Everybody know that Moses as a winger was piss poor... He couldn't cut it at Chelsea as a winger.. He went to Liverpool,West Ham and Stoke city and wasn't impressive..

He was rotting on the bench until Conte decided to introduce his 3-4-3 system in which Moses was given a chance... Conte left Chelsea and he still wasn't deemed good enough for the wing role...

People saying Onyekuru,Simon,Kalu, Chukwueze, etc haven't achieved what Moses has achieved won't tell you that those players have better stats than Moses when he was at their age..
Onyekuru in particular almost has more career goals than Moses...
What exactly are we going to recall him back for?

I will rather have Ejuke,Saka and Dennis to provide competition for our current wingers...

At least, he was nominated for 2913 BBC player of the year, 2013 Afcon player of the year, 2013 Goal player of the year etc playing as a winger.

Why?

Was he productive as a winger in 2013 yes or no? No

With 1 league goal all season and only 2 penalty goals in the Afcon you are here saying he single handedly won us the trophy undecided

Mikel still came out 2nd in the top 3 but you want us to believe that Moses was our best player at the tournament

But Drogba has won better laurel than that. It's common sense to rate Drogba above Ighalo due to this reason.

The same way Ighalo's Afcon golden boot is far better than U17 golden boot. Simple.

Oga go and sleep. Rome wasn't built in a day. They re unproven to you buh still good enough for the super eagles coach who calls them up always

I am so glad 80% of this players you mentioned are doing their thing in Europe top 5 leagues, they re in their early 20s so the room for improvement is evident. When iggy was in their age didn't achieve half of what these young guns hv achieved.

I want to remind you once again that osimhen currently is the most expensive signing in the history of Nigerian football. If he wasn't doing something right Napoli won't risk such amount to bring him on board

SHOCKING display of sentiment based inference, you jumped in without actually knowing where this particular discussion emanated from.

You are shameless in your changing of the goals posts and the trajectory of the discourse.

The core subject as you have it seems intentionally forgotten but let me remind you, " According to some, you included is that we do not need Ighalo and VM" Danielninoo claimed there were available options and as such Ighalo and VM are not needed.

A list of supposed better alternatives was presented by Danielninoo. I simply in comparison to Ighalo and VM find that none of these "available options" is better in their respective positions than VM or Ighalo, that's my position .

None of them have achieved what VM and Ighalo have achieved in their careers so far. Indeed they may not achieve. You are essentially counting chicks before they have hatched and speculating what size they will be.

With Ighalo and VM there is no speculation their outstanding quality is there for all too see, Tried, Tested and PROVEN.

I then gave my reasons in a nutshell comparison to Ighalo and VM.

I will indulge you slightly 80% of these players according to you are doing their thing in Europe top 5 league. However, how many are outstanding in Europe apart from Victor Osimhen.

The easier part for a footballer in one context is the high transfer fee. The harder part is to live up to expectations of that huge transfer fee.

And yes many clubs have paid huge fees, and lived to regret it. Indeed it is a very common phenomenon. Like l said the true test is what Victor will do in Seria A, this season not the transfer fee.

even if it 40k release clause,

yet they are sending liuz suarez outta the club

Same way Osimhen Accolades shows he has had more impact every where he has played than Ighalo at just 21.

Heck Ighalo couldn't even make Segunda A or Championship or Seria b team of the season when he played there. He couldn't even win player of the season at any of his club.

What next after this?

This doesn't even prove anything
The award was given to him out of discretion and not because he was exceptional. What is exceptional about scoring 2 goals both from the penalty spot for Nigeria and 1 League goal the whole season?

What stats did he have in 2013 to make him deserve the award? undecided

You're just going in circles and at the end of the day his stats only show how piss poor he is as a winger
