I'm not really religious, I agree to some inconsistencies (afterall, all holy books were written by humans based on thier understanding and influenced by their culture) but I also think some only seem inconsistent because they were taken out of context (e.g No. 6), some are subject to different interpretations (e.g. No.17, the two statements are together and the first part advices you not to let a fool drag you into his mud while the second part advices you not to let his foolishness go unchallenged) while I believe some are just stories used to pass across a message and might not have happened really (e.g. No. 4, the story of Job).

Just my take.

1. it's a crime to murder , Is it wrong for governmental authorities to execute a murderer ?Is it wrong for a policeman to use his gun and perhaps even kill someone in order to protect the innocent and enforce the law?

3. James is not saying that works alone save us. Paul is not saying that faith alone saves us. They are both saying that one without the other is dead. James shows us that faith without works is dead. Paul shows us that works without faith is dead. We need both. A saved man must SHOW the evidence of A SAVING FAITH , BY DOING GOOD WORK

4. job was an upright man doesn't mean he is without sin , the bible does not give more details about his early life , so on what ground do you lay your arguement ?

The Law Giver did not Expressly Prohibit the Marriage and Intercourse between siblings at the beginning according to His Plans and Purpose.

Then, Obviously when His Plans were fulfilled, He Excercised His Right of Declaring it Prohibited.

There is really no Contradiction but what you see is The Laws of Balance.

No one has two left legs or only one right leg. You would not be be able to walk smoothly or even run.

In Genesis, God did not Expressly Prohibit Marriage to Relations of Blood and Close Consanguinities.

In Leviticus and Deuteronomy The Law Prohibiting Degrees of Consanguinities, Sex and Marriage is Expressly Established!

See evidence of a bad Bible in your Galatians 5:2 when it Rightly Said "Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing".

That aside, in Genesis The Law of Circumcision was Complete, being Both Bodily and Spiritly.

But by the time of the Galatians, God's Laws had perverted and even those who "appeared" to obey it, where now doing it wrong.

So, Paul was putting it to them that they Obey Not God's Law even though they "appear" to be obeying it.

Which is why he had advocated for the circumcision of the heart which is Circumcision of your spirit.
