I believe u submitted application around mid July. Has your Lithuania visa application been approved?

Have heard one or two Nigerians going through international airport in Benin Republic (Cotonou) to travel to Europe, even when naija airport were yet to open.

FIRSTLY; NO FAKE DOCUMENTS. THEY WILL CATCH YOU AND BAN YOU FROM THE EU FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS.. THEY VERIFY ALL DOCUMENTS. BANK STATEMENTS , DEGREE CERTFICATES AND SSCE CERTIFICATES. THEY VERIFY ALL

I was an MSC applicant, so I had to include a strong motivation letter, proof of work, I am self employed, if you are not, then you will need to present salary payslips.

Letter of intent to study addressed to your work place (believe they’re called NOCs),

Your cv.

Study leave approved by your office.

You need a sponsor letter,

Sponsor's proof of employment, sponsors financial documents (salary/tax slips) Bank Statement with at least, 4 million Niara balance. More than 4 million is cool as our Naira continues to depreciate.

If you are going for MSc, then it is advisable to have your bank statement added to the sponsor's one. If you can fund it up to 4 million Niara, then it help you more.

Had my certificates notarized, data page of passport for myself and sponsor,

Admission letter,

Proof of admission,

Proof of payment of fees,

Mediation number/letter from school, two passport photographs in white background,.

Some of the documents depend on whether you are applying for MSc or BSc.

I applied for MSc so I submitted the belwo., They will sight the Original but you will only submit the Copy:

Passport data page (Same for if you have previous passports)

Neco or WAEC Certificate

Health Insurance

Degree Certificate

Degree Transcripts

Some other professional certificates

My Bank Statement (Masters students are advised to have their own bank statements with funds in it and/or that shows the proof of employment or economic activities. Can also be for the purposes of sponsoring your education in Lithuanian.... You should also include a sponsor's bank statement. BSc students can just show their sponsor's bank statements ) The thing is, if you are going for BSc, it is expected that you are still too young to sponsor yourself. If you are going for BSc but you already have employment, not bad if you include your own bank statement

A motivational letter that will clearly state why you have chosen your course of study, why you have chosen the school and why you have chosen Lithuania. This letter must include your research ambitions for the chosen course

If you are self-employed, they gonna need your certificate of business Incorporation from Corporate Affairs

A letter from your sponsor and his/her bank statement

Try to notarize all your academic credentials like WAEC/NECO, Degree certificate and transcripts (If applicable)

You only pay a processing fee of 11 thousand naira. If you want your passport mailed back to you when it is back from the embassy without you going to VFS, then you will be made to pay another 4 thousand naira for that.

What can you tell us about the interview? What are the chances of getting the visa after interview. And also what can you say about those , that has not been called?

The interview is the final stage of the visa process. My visa was grantted two days after my interview.

Chances of getting visa depends on submitting enough authentic and satisfactory documents that are not FAKE. Also, you need to have a good reason why you have applied for your course. Your future plan must align with your course of study and you need to highlight this link during the interview,

You need to know the course you applied for. You need to link some of the subjetcs of the course to your future plans after studies.

You need to have documents that shows that you have ties at home like proof of landed properties. marraige status. Proof that your job will be waiting for you when you are done with your studies. Rememeber, a fresh high school graduate who is 17-20 years going for BSc does not need all these things I have mentioned. If you are going for Masters especially after years of finsihing your BSC, they gonna need to be convinced that you have been doing something with your life before application. You see, you need to observe contexts here.

I submitted my application 29th of June and I was interviewed on 5th of August .

Thanks although I have a few questions
1) For a Masters student any range of money expected to be in my account?
2) For a self employed ,any idea of age of the CAC certificate and possible value of assets that needs to be presented?
3) How do they sight the original as stated in other words whats a better way to show the original copy of credentials?
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by chrisderson: 11:31pm On Aug 29, 2020
Be nice to have some money in the account...Be also nice to have run the account with some money for sometime by way of deposits and withdrawals. I once of deposit of millions may not be enough,

CAC documents needs to been valid for sometime. Like, you can't submit a few month-old CAC, it would mean that you only registered your company just to secure a visa. CAC should be at least a few years old. It needs to be an existing and running business, not a dormant one. The company's bank statments should show that the company is actually doing bussiness. Tax receipts will be required too.

Just make copies of the origanl and go with it for application at VSF, they will take the copy but before they do so, they will need to see the original documnets

What cloud be the course of the refusal after granting them interview? Because I know that before they call for interview the level of approval is like 79/100. So what could be the reason of refusing them after interview? Any ideal please?

Re: Lithuania Student Visa by chrisderson: 11:20pm On Sep 02, 2020
Well, we don't know if it is %79, it is just what people may think. I saw people who were interviwed with me who di not get the visa. Even if it is %79, it is still not %100

Most of them were denied for such thing as

1) impersonation

2) Lack of sufficient funds

3) Fake Documents.

40 Lack of ties in Nigeria

The embassy actually tells you why your visa is denied. They do.
