How's Erica inability to keep good relationship with other housemates the fault of Kid?

Is Erica not a discerning adult who knows what's good for her? The alienation was her own doing in her attempt of being overprotective of Kid because of her insecurity.

Kid relates well with others, mingles with them and all, why not Erica?

First of all,Tolanibaj is nobody's friend and I don't expect Erica to be friends with her because she's not trustworthy.
