What do they plan to do with the crude they've stolen. Do they plan to refine it or are they expecting to sell it to some foreign country for forex?

Do they even know what crude oil is or are they just stealing because it is a compulsive habit formed over time?

That's what is known locally as black oil or Charly Oscar in marine parlance. There's a lot of market value for those that know. It's value is not only extracted in the refinery.

A thousand and one things can be done with it. That vessel was seized by the Federal Government and the crew and hirer prosecuted by the EFCC.

Unconfirmed rsports has it that it's been sold off and would soon be dismembered in a scrap yard.

You'd wonder what they would do with it.
they will sell it to bunkerers who will refine it to petrol and diesel and those ones will sell it to black market sellers who will pour it inside jerry can and sell it to you (public). Then the car or generator engine using the fuel will knock after some time because of bad fuel quality. That's the cycle involved

The key word you used there is 'reasonable'!!!... What reasonable amount of crude are those people above gonna 'scoop' from there??! While at it, how exactly do they plan to market or sell it off??!

I feel this is an extremely foolish thing to do, as they can literally not use it for anything meaningful, unless of which, they have a refinary somewhere.

God help us
