My advise: don't bank on Attestation. Get a Birth Cert. from NPC

Rah I’ll just have to stick with attestation and hope for the best; quite difficult getting Birth Certificate without the old one.
Also, I’ve translated it but I was told I might have to legalise it at the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs also. How did you get yours done?

Thanks for your response sir.
But the only problem here for someone like me is that I was born before 1992 and NPC can only issue Birth Certificate to any person born in Nigeria after 1992, any person born before the 1992 can only get attestation of birth certificate from NPC.
Though I have a birth certificate issued to me few years ago by my local government when I misplaced the one I was using before, all my names on it is the same as my names on my passport. But I am thinking maybe they will not recognize it because it was issued by local government
Sir, can I use the local government issued own?

Yes! Specifically, people born before 1992 can only get attestation of birth certificate from NPC, though maybe I am wrong.

I was born before 1992 and I did a new birth certificate from NPC last year. I don't think the regulation is overly binding.

Maybe it was the fact that I already had an NPC birth cert and just needed a correction of name in other to finalise my permanent social security.

You can visit any NPC office, preferably the one at Surulere and liase with them.

Attestation can fly but when it does not, then you will understand how frustrating it is and why you should have done the normal birth certificate.

My birth certificate was translated & stamped by Alliance F and it was accepted by the French bodies.

I will try it, hopefully it turns out positive.
NB: Can I do it in any State?

The 1-year Long Stay D Visa (Student) gives you the right to work - (officially 20hrs/wk, unofficially as much hours as you like). To renew it, you will need a Scolarité from your School which you cannot get if you are not schooling at the school.. Get my drift? Lol

Aside that, to get a work visa straight from Nigeria, you must be sponsored by a French company just like how the UK is, and that is almost as difficult as Buhari resigning from the Presidency.

Résident? As long as you have a long stay visa, you are a Résident wink

I reckon it’s cos you had the old one. Almost impossible to get a new birth certificate from NPC without the old one if you’re over 18

A question for anyone that has done the VISALE process and can explain what is in this doc.

Since I'm not yet residing in France, The doc states to put postal code as 99999 and France, so which address do I actually put in place of the address (Nigerian address/accommodation in France?) because from the example in the doc, it was the person's home address and not the one in france that is there but still followed the other instruction of using 99999 as postal code and France as country. So it's a bit confusing.

If you understand, please help. Thank you

No the person used Gabon as country. The France there can't be modified that's why it was left that way.

Read the last instructions very well it's clearly says if you do not residence in France yet, use 99999 as the postal code and put the city and country you currently reside thats why the example on the form filled his city/country which is city Libreville and country Gabon
The instructions says the FRANCE cannot be edited so you have to leave it that way.

Okay i think i get it now. But the current form is different from the one in the document as the country can be edited and there's a dropdown with multiple countries. So maybe i'll just stick to France as country then use my current residential address here for the rest and also follow the postal code in the doc. Thank You

I followed the newer guide that was sent to me and my visale application was rejected because "Your address is not in France or in a border country, you are therefore not eligible for Visale."

so i'm confused.

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Flaame(m): 10:37am On Sep 08, 2020
PLEASE READ THROUGH!!!
Good morning guys,I'm a newbie here,in fact, this is actually my first post here. I would want to share a brief story of my educational background so that most of you will understand where I'm coming from.

I'm a 25 year old Nigerian with a great desire to get a college degree. I haven't had one yet,and I see my life as not fully accomplished without having a college degree. I had a lot of setbacks in my after high school years which deprived me the privilege of going to college against my wish. But when I turned 22/23....things became a lot more better for me, I didn't want to go to school in Nigeria anymore (have never actually wanted to though). So I started my college application with US schools, got admissions in a couple of colleges with half scholarships in all,but sadly I was deprived a visa twice. I opted for TRNC visa which I got but feel reluctant to go ahead with due to many negative factors .

Now I see France as a better option but I really do not know Jack about their system, despite the fact I'm researching extensively. Now here's what I want if someone can help me out: Am I too old for an undergraduate education in France? How is the Visa approval rate with all documents being equal? How long does it take before their visa is issued? Like how much do I have to hold in my bank statement while applying? Are there some affordable college recommendation one can give me here? And please what documents are required.

THANK Y'ALL!!!

HELLO guys, I got an admission recently to a Private University in Paris, the resumption date is November 6th, I have paid a deposit of 3200 euro (1.5M). I'm about to start the consular process, is there any advice you guys can give me ?

2. I don't have an accommodation, I'm planning to stay with my aunty in Paris. Is there any documents I would need to get or my aunt would need to get ??

3. The school fees is around 10,500 euro, would I need to have more than that in my account for financial proof or there is a minimum amount someone need to have??

Thanks you so much fams. I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

For the accommodation I would advice you get a temporary one so you can tender as a housing certificate or better still try and get your school to give you housing certificate. Then when you get to France you can stay with your aunty , staying with someone are parts of the reasons Dey deny visa

Secondly are you sponsoring yourself or it’s your aunty
Whichever way . Have the balance of your school fees and 615euros x 12months
Could be in your sponsors account or yours
