you need more reasons?

Eto won Laliga thrice. Nothing like multi times, abeg.

Olympic remains an age grade competition. Nothing more nothing less.

Drogba finish 4th in 2007 balon d'Or and FIFA world player of the year.

Won 2004 Onze d'Or award.

There's nothing to reason. Both are in the same level.

Kelechi Nwakali played the second 45 mins as his side Huesca secured a 3-0 win over CE Sabadell.

Only saw the final couple of mins but that is another good run out for another of our lads.

Note: That's Nwakali in Jersey #3

Both rankings are valid. But let's work with the 2020 you posted. It's very much okay.

And calm down Naa... Alampasu played in the first round of the Europa league qualifiers and they took on a team from Moldova. Latvia is ranked higher than Moldova Naa. They even managed to win. The team was Dinamo Auto. So man relax. I dey follow this guy bumper to bumper. grin

Okay, Samson Tijani is also gonna be playing Europa league qualifying with TSV Hartberg, does this now mean he is playing at a higher level than Mikel Agu? Agu did his thing in Portugal last season and still is in Portugal pending when his Nantes move does materialise.

Talking where both currently play comes down to the league eventually. Yakubu is in a league more highly rated than Latvia. That is the fact I want you to accept and be okay with.

And the again I say that the other two have been performing well in decent 2nd tier leagues and one of them is now bound to go up with the first team. Also, I have seen the quality of the leagues concerned and it is understandable why Alampasu is not in the picture for now. Besides, Alampasu just returned and is trying to have his first full season in a long while. Allow the lad. Don't try to rush him by insisting he must be called up now.

Finally, If it is just my opinion that the Austria 2nd tier is not below Latvia then you must also then disagree with me for saying that the Championship is better than some European top flight leagues. Finito.

How can something that will kick start in 2021 be valid now?

Whether na dinamo Oshogbo or Dinoma bolekaja em play, as long as it's UEFA competition, it's remains the highest level above Slovakia league.

Portuguese first division is sure better than the Austrian League but once Samson team gets to play in the UEFA competition, he is playing at the highest level above the Mikel Agu. However, I will choose Mikel Agu over Samson because he got more experience than Samson.

Where in my post did I insist Alampasu should be called?

I only cleared the false impression that Alampasu is playing at the lower level compared to aforementioned players. Far far away from the truth.

I didn't agree championship is better than the leagues I mentioned in the first place.

Lol... Yes it is valid b'cos we are entering the 2020/2021 season. But it's okay, the 2020 still does it.

Okay. Your grouse is about whether Alampasu is playing at a lower level compared to some of the other goalies abi? Not about a NT invite.

Okay well, I remember this whole discussion can be traced to me explaining to a moniker here a few reasons why Alampasu cannot be considered for now b'cos the discourse was about the new goalies being considered (Yakubu, Tobias Lawal and Adeleye). Part of those reasons is that Alampasu is playing in a league whose quality level is definitely lower compared to the others and that the lad only just returned to action so should be allowed to really build consistency.

Now if I am to agree that no top-flight league is below the standard of some 2nd tiers, then that would only knock out Tobias and Adeleye since that is what you want to achieve. But again... It doesn't knock out Yakubu who is a starter in a league of better quality compared to Latvia. Simple.

So with that Alampasu is below Yakubu surely.

But again, I speak honestly when I repeat that Alampasu is not playing at the highest level compared to any of these lads. Most especially Yakubu. The Latvian league. Hmmm.... Forgiveness. Just take your time and watch the league. Pick any game. And compare to the quality of the Austrian 2nd tier and Israeli 2nd tier. You will see it for yourself. No need to drag this talk further.

Just understand that although Latvia is a backwater league, Alampasu getting playing time is what is most important to us. Then surely with time, he will get another chance in the long run. I still rate him and I really hope he does well enough to bag move that steps him up from Latvia within the next one or two years. But for now, he is where he is and still working. We hope for the best and while we hope, we turn to others who are potentially ready for now. Simple.

And alright... So you don't agree that The English Championship is better than some European top flight leagues not even better than Azerbaijan Top flight or the Swedish Top flight. Okay. grin

The reason given didn't correlate with the facts on ground. Totally false and void.

Rohr decided to call the players he WANTS or THINKS is BEST for his team. I don't know.

You are not in Rohr's head to claim that was his reason.

Eto has been in ucl finals 3 times and won all. He also got to the finals twice in AFCON and won all. Unlike Drogba who got to the finals of both competition and won only the UCL.

Snapshot can't capture Drogba's achievements once.

Lol.... you can believe what you want to believe Forgiveness but I have just told you the truth. I speak(chat) daily with someone who speaks to Rohr almost daily. Like "daily" and then "almost daily". wink And the person keeps me posted. But it's fine.

Now, Alampasu is at a much lower level and needs to build some consistency before he can be considered. He is not on the level of Uzoho, Okoye and even the new boy Yakubu. Tobias is also working his way up fast. Adeleye is still on the radar but not in better stead now than Yakubu. There is also Osigwe who is an outsider. Options don dey rise.

And Akpeyi is still around but one of these new young lads will displace Akpeyi with time and retire him from the team. That is the goal. Alampasu is only in the conversation as an outsider for now. His time will come if he keeps up his resurgence. Simple as that. And don't forget, this is a lad I also rate well.

And you have already watched the leagues and you want me to accept that Latvian football league quality is as "kwantawa" as the ones in Israel and Slovakia. One must surely be better than the other. Slovakia that gave us Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu. Israel that gave us a good part of Enyeama and Aiyenugba. I just dey look you. grin

Anyway, believe what you want to believe. Na your way. It's fine.

Viv Solomon Otabor has been announced as a New Wigan Athletic Signing.

He joins the League 1 club from CSKA Sofia, Bulgaria and has been given the Number 17 for the new season.

Also, who remembers that Big Lad, Emeka Obi who at 15 yrs back in 2016 or so, he was reported as the Biggest Teen in English Football. Well, he has been handed the #20 jersey for Wigan this new season.

So we have both Viv Solomon Otabor and Emeka Obi in English league 1.

Alampasu is not in any lower level than Tobias, Yakubu and Adeleye. Fact

Okoye? It's good he got a move to Eredivisie league but he has never played at the highest level above Alampasu who just left the Portuguese league.

For now, German connection is what is helping him. Somebody who only played in third tier German football is better than somebody who played in the Portuguese league.

Favouritism is at work. It has nothing to do with level.

If he was not invited to the national team, I don't think he stands a chance of getting a move to Eredivisie.

Only deluded Chelsea fans won't accept that they are a small club..

When we talk about elite clubs in Europe, we talk about clubs that have built a strong legacy for several decades and have dominated European competitions and their national league coupled with the fact that they have produced some of the world's best players..
Chelsea doesn't belong to that category...
I dare say, even Ajax are closer to that category than Chelsea..
