Its either you didnt understand what I meant by "elite clubs" or you chose not to accept the definition..
But I clearly gave AC Milan as an example and made reference to big clubs like Man Utd,Madrid and Juve that have gone throygh periods of struggles..

Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr is sweating on the fitness of Kenneth Omeruo, less than three weeks before he announces his first roster for the 2020-2021 season, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

It was a foregone conclusion that the Chelsea product was set to be summoned for the international friendlies against Ivory Coast and Tunisia taking place in Austria next month but there is a new development that would worry Rohr and Super Eagles fans.

Omeruo had to be replaced twelve minutes into Saturday's friendly between Leganes and Albacete Balompié, and the demoted La Liga club have explained that it was an injury-enforced substitution due to discomfort felt by the central defender.

Despite speculation linking the Super Eagle with an exit from Leganes following their demotion to the Segunda Division, he was involved in all their pre-season games - starting three and playing the whole of the second half against FC Cartagena.

Apart from today's game, Omeruo was included in the starting lineup against Rayo Vallecano and S.D Eibar, taking his accumulated game time in pre-season to 192 minutes.

So, Liverpool, Man city, Arsenal, Chelsea etc don't play tactical, technical etc football!?


I didn't mention teams.

The league as a whole.
Tactic wise, EPL is not the best among top 5
Technique wise, they're not.
They don't play the best defensive football either.

They only play the best money football. That's why they have God knows how many local competitions, whereas other leagues have 1.

It's all about money, more money, and much more money

If we go by Last season Fulham , Leeds, West Brom are clearly better than Boavista.

If we go to the bottom half with Stoke that fields two Nigerian international and many more internationals as well as Swansea.

Compare the team sheets and look at the personal if you look at the value and quality of players Boavista doesn't compete with these two teams.

The championship is more physicality and speed than technicality. Different types of football emphasis. So not all players can converge technicality with physicality and then add speed.

Players from the Championship regular go to the top leagues of Europe. And you will have to spend good money to prise a quality player from the Championship to any other league.

Money attracts the best players that's a given.




Even though I agree with your last paragraph, it still doesn't tell the full story. We've seen times without number, teams on a shoe-string budget go on to cause teams with big players in their ranks upsets.


The privilege your favorites - Iorfa and Adarabioyo have is what's helping them find a decent team to play for, Awaziem doesn't have such, he has to struggle as twice as them to gain recognition, so, bear with us, if we are a little excited with his recent Portuguese fellowship.

I don't think I can get into their heads to know, but there's no way Tomori would have succeeded in England, unless he succeeded in Chelsea. At Chelsea was because of the transfer ban. Pretty sure he'd be going on loan very soon. These are variables they would have considered, yet, yet, they stick to their oyinbo country, don't they?

There's a reason a lot of us adore and appreciate Dessers. He knows and realise the problem he'd have with Belgium, and stuck to Nigeria.

Others know the problems, but still end up dipping their heads into it, in hope, or for whatever reasons.

My point be sey, these people get advisers, and dem get head. I'm very sure the variables is usually explained to them. But all of them, all of them end up going for their oyinbo country.

A typical example is Adama, after having given Mali his word, look at him chasing Spain up and down. Why did he give Mali his word he'd play for them? And why did all that change the moment Spain came calling?

So yes, they know up front, and they choose 10 mins of appearance over 10 years of appearance in the other country

Nigeria’s national football team may not have kicked a ball together yet this year, but the Gernot Rohr-led side has seen its worth listed among the world’s biggest

The Super Eagles, valued at €218.95 million, have been ranked 19th on the list of the world’s 100 most valuable national teams and second on the African log, as put together byTransfermarkt.

The three-time African champions rank better than the likes of European giants Scotland (21st), and Switzerland (23rd), CONCACAF’s highest-ranked side Mexico (39th), and Asia’s top-ranking teams, Australia (58th) and South Korea (70th). 

England’s Three Lions, at over €1 billion, is the world’s most valuable national football team, followed in order by France, Brazil, Italy, and Spain in the top five.



In Africa, Senegal’s Teranga Lions (14th, at €330.28 million) – led in value by Liverpool’s Sadio Mane – retain the top spot with Nigeria coming in second place.

The trio of Morocco (20th), Algeria (24th), and Egypt (28th) complete Africa’s top five list.

Although Victor Osimhen secured a multi-million euros move to Napoli a few weeks ago, the former Lille striker (€40m) is Nigeria’s second most valuable player behind Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi (€45m). 

Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze (€27m), Everton’s Alex Iwobi (€25.5m), and Club Brugge’s Emmanuel Dennis (€16m) make up the country’s top five most valuable stars.
