I remember a guy racially abused an opponent and they didn't even suspend him but when he faced that same team the ref allowed them to do basically what they wanted with him. I loved that from Turkey.

Honestly the only thing I have against Turkey is that b@stard referee that officiated Nigeria v Argentina cry

Are u talking about Dider Zakora??

Worthy of discussing Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood?

That's the issue we were trying to address the other time. There are some topics that are worth discussing about, not necessarily derailing, on the thread.

World Class players, World Class coach, World Class teams. We want what's good for our players, and if it's to advise them to emulate Ronaldo, Messi, Lewandowski etc, it's fine. They can learn.

If it's too wish for them to have more ambitions and join bigger clubs, like many people did for Victor, like people have been singing for Ndidi. It's fine

It's all fine, not for too long. But I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why we should be discussing 2 English boys that have no ties to Nigeria, sorry, not even any of our African neighbours or nations, on this thread. Just because we want to discuss what's trending.

It's not so hard to stick to the topic of the thread naa. C'mon, you sef look am naa, Greenwood and Foden? Seriously?

Please, let's stick to Super Eagles players, dual nationality players abeg. We can branch to other things, but not about Greenwood.

It's the "trending" topic that you all want to discuss that's doing you, not that our players can learn anything from them. And this thread is not a haven for trending topics.

Thank you, sir.

I give up

Leke James frustrated with lack of Super Eagles chance

Molde of Norway striker, Leke James said he’s frustrated with the lack of National team invitation despite his good run of form.

The former Chinese based striker has been on a good run of form in the Norwegian topflight, scoring an impressive 27 goals in 47 appearances for his Norwegian side Molde since joining in 2018.

Despite these impressive numbers, Leke James has been consistently overlooked by Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr.

While speaking with popular social media platform NSM on Monday, The Kaduna born striker expressed his disappointment not to have a national team call up despite his goal-scoring form.

"It doesn’t feel really good despite the scoring form, I haven’t been given a chance in the national team.

The 27-year-old also stressed further, that he is still hopeful about his national team dream, but he must continue to work hard for his club.

“But I just take it by faith and keep working hard that hopefully someday I will get a chance,” he said.

Just look at Gattuso's stance. Dude is about to execute his trademark "Passion tackle" with his right foot but then ofcos he remembers, this is his #1 striker so he must go easy on him. grin

Osimhen's calm shows he got this under control. Lol.

Guys relax. I think Iwobi is still gonna start. In a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1, Ancelotti will always have Richarlison, Calvert Lewin, James Rodriguez and Iwobi onfield. Sigurdsson benches for James. Bernard and Walcott benches for Iwobi.

Unless Carlo prefers Bernard over Iwobi which I doubt anyway, then Iwobi will start when he is fit and available. He is more technically gifted and more than cerebral enough to combine with James, Richarlison and Lewin in that four man "Final third" attack either in a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1. Allan and Doucoure will occupy the midfield roles.

It could be like this as analysed by some Squawka experts (below is 4-4-1-1 which could easily be 4-4-2 seeing James drift to the left and Richarlison further centrally uptop with Lewin and Iwobi on the right. He could also switch flanks with James.

With Jaime Rodriguez now joining Everton, I hope Iwobi won't be impacted negatively o. I honestly think Ancelotti would favor Jaime because 1) he signed him 2) they have a history together, from Real Madrid to Bayern.
We shall see how it goes.
It's Sigurdson who should be scared not iwobi

Have you tried using Google translate to read a write-up? It's very clumsy and no good, your best bet is to tell them to give you the document in a language you understand just as Victor requested
