I don't normally do Fx transfers for local banks, I like to withdraw and deposit. But of recent GTB came up with this new policy that doesn't allow customers withdraw inflow except cash deposits.

I decided to transfer to Access bank where I can withdraw dollars, and behold I was charged $45 dollars for just $900 transfer to a local bank. I wonder how much I will be changed when I transfer to overseas.

GTB of late have been dishing out policies that hurt their customers from limited international transactions on naira cards to just $100 to not being able to withdraw inflows even when other banks think otherwise.

I'm moving to other banks that grant me fair policies.

Try and transfer from that access bank to gtb and see them removing up to 150$°
The problem is massive gap in buying and selling. If i will understand, you have naira account in gtb and not domiciliary account, and transfer to access bank to withdraw in dollars.
Or how did that commission happen?
Many banks, like access bank will sell for you around 440naira and buy for you around 375 naira creating huge gap and racketeering.. That's so unfortunate and rip offs.

No, this is not the case, it's from dollar to dollar account. So I don't understand why they will charge me that much.

I was charged $121 for a dollar card transaction. GTB is just robbing their customers.

How sir? Do you mean transfer to your dollar card or when you made the transaction using your dollar card? What's the amount spent? Sorry for these questions. Just trying to figure out something.

Weird question. What will happen if the 900 is moved to an online platform and withdrawn from the platform to access Bank.
* Would the charge be up to $40+ ?
E.g GT bank -> Block chain/Skrill -> Access bank

My brother I weak for this GTB, but it's all good, I now have account with Zenith bank and Access bank. Next is UBA. It's good to have many accounts, atleast you will definitely get a fair deal.

I reasoned this too, but from when I tried to buy from Moonpay.io they requested ID where my temporary National ID was declined.

Honestly, this would have been my best bet. I have more inflows coming through, so I need the fair deal.

I think some accept intl passport ID. But, national ID is easier to get, it's sad the National ID isn't taken seriously in Nigeria. I think Luno accepts national ID (temporary)

What I meant was moving USD to cryptocurrency (stable coins preferably) and wait a few days and withdraw to another bank account.
Luno is just a sort of wallet, if you want to sell to paxful. I think you should just send it from Luno to the paxful address.
