I need to let u know madam Radu that your people insist on collecting 2k plus VAT even after showing them I have appoint from u(nairaland). They actually wanted to make me pay 8k non refundable if am not fixing the issue but discounted if am fixing. I had to stand my ground and the lady don't even know jack. The guys at the receptions don't know what they are doing and don't know what scanning entails after asking about the scan. At least there is need to be technical person attending to customers too. It experience was not good. Don't let me use bad word. I know u may not be aware of this, don't let them put ur integrity to doubt.

This is too much! You are not an active member here sef.. cos you heard of free diagnostics..

But again Ahnn Ahnn!!!

Brotherly there r better ways to table issues to the boss... Do you know that this kind of report can make a family man/woman loose their source of livelihood? How would you feel if that happens only because you want to get a good service at no cost.

Try dey calm down bros.

Nothing is free.

Can u even imagine that... You don't give food meant for your children to dogs- the Holy Bible.

My oga did something similar sometimes back and even posted private chats on public forum to buttress his black painting of the employee, I only thank God i still meet the same worker few months after paying a visit there. Customers are always right doesn't mean we should put our neighbors means of livelihood on the line.

@aunt radu; @gazzuzz, the bolded, copied from a site, best describes my ordeal:

the misfire is only at idle, under no load, and disappears when i press the gas pedal. So to keep the engine alive, l need to constantly keep throttling. However, to prevent this my mech has had to raise the rpm

Below is the solution the site proffered:
the most common issue on older cars is a vacuum leak (or dirty throttle body / idle air control valve). Best first step: clean the throttle body and IAC.

Your input is highly appreciated.

I am not a Mechanic, far from it.
But i experienced similar issue on my Camry 2006 last week; whenever i slow down or stops moving, the car will go off. At a time i had to speed up even where there's pot hole.
Upon trying out some simple stuffs I previously watched on Youtube, the leakage was discovered.
I was lucky, it was a short rubber hose connecting the cumbustion chamber to the air intake(pardon my lack of technical terms)
Na so i rush go buy the hose of 300 naira and 2 metal clips. The damaged hose was replaced by myself.

I've been following this arguement between the major parties about 10 pages back now, and before hand, I had deduced something's about major personalities here, first off was Dru, honestly with the picture qoutes and all, I didn't take him as a serious person, jpworld I saw as someone domineering, about felicity, hmmmmm.

Now, I understand where everyone's issue is. I feel jpworld has been played and taken advantage of a lot of times and so he decides to shield his empathetic side and be strictly on a business level, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. My only problem is you don't really seem to understand that everyone isn't the same, your approach to business works for you, but may not work for others, I'd suggest you only advice co partners on what to do rather than to to cajole them to adopt your business strategy.

For Dru, I honestly never took you as a serious person, but you changed that within the last 10 pages. You seem like someone that gives people a lot of leeway but once pushed to the wall, turn a hard cheek and damn the consequences. I also deduced that if you adopt jpworld's business strategy, you wouldn't get optimum performance from your business partners. Please don't let any one change your business approach. Stick to what works for you.

Mr Felicity, from the inception of when I joined this page at about page 860 or so, I noticed you are like the proverbial lion waiting for whom to devour. There is this name my people call people with similar characteristics " eze onye agwala m" loosely translated to someone that cannot be reasoned with and always feels they are right. Am I saying you are always wrong, not exactly. All I'm saying is, you don't seem to see anything wrong in whatever actions you take, but would rather that everyone sees things from your perspective and adopt your opinion, and when people fail to do so, you ostracize them and tag them the enemy. The fact people don't buy your idea doesn't mean they are enemies. It only shows freedom of thinking and expression. I was actually surprised to know you were actually married. I hope this attitude doesn't reflect negatively on your home. But honestly, you need to self reflect and evaluate. In the course of different discussions, a lot of people have deduced and concluded that you cannot really be reasoned with, to an extent that is true, I may be wrong, but please self reflect, try to modify something's, do accept that sometimes you cannot be right. There is a saying that 'you can't judge others based on their actions, and judge yourself based on your intentions'. Please do well to patch things up with Dru, even if you don't partner in the future, nothing beats a good relationship between former business partners. I actually am expecting an albeit non palatable response seeing that I don't subscribe to your channel of thoughts, but please do give my advice some consideration.

Very on point, too much on point self lol .....you are a mind reader , am equally as nice as I am mean ....

@the bolded has also been suggested as a probable cause:
Or, the better approach, is to test the resistance on the injectors to make sure it's not an internal electrical failure

Also got a code reading from the bolded:
Do you have other codes, especially for engine management sensors like MAP/MAF/TPS/EGR?

Hello all, my experience at ketu two days ago.

I was coming from mile 12 inward ketu and took the service lane since the road is under construction, unknown to me I continued on the service lane at ketu only to realise the road is blocked too and can only link you to Lagos-ibadan express. Immediately I tried to reverse, one agbero came and was directing me to come back and link the ketu- ojota express using the BRT lane, as soon as I finished reversing...lastma in my front. I had to part with some thing, not for taking BRT lane but for reversing.

As a driver and also a partner my humble advise to all is to just go home or park somewhere. Today's work is cancelled.

Dont be tempted to work in this flood, how much can you make today? That you will go and spend double at the mechanic.

Let's be smart.
imagine someone even request me in that rain only to get thr and they want to load bed frame in my car, i just zoom off

Best way to gonis this. You shouldn't have gone for an inspection, I'd similar issue with my first rental, a corolla on Bolt then when my account was still active. The good thing was my partner owner had the inspection report in her mail because she was the one that paid for it so I just uploaded it without doing a new inspection since it has not expired.

So what you should do is try get that inspection report from the former driver that used the car and see how it goes.

If it where uber you would need to go for an inspection to add up to you're profile but Bolt is different, till the previous is expired no driver can add it to their system.

Really?? It therefore means the former driver is still using it to drive and has not done an inspection for his latest car. Maybe you should go ahead with another inspection then it will render the former null and void. Bolt will then suspend his account and ask him to for clarification before going online.

I've told the owner of the car to tell the guy that he should deactivate the car in his account and he told me that he have msg him but he read his msg but did not reply.
Anyhow, I will go for another inspection tomorrow or Friday.
