May God bless the man that gave you this current car you're using

He really tried, to be sincere
Bro it is what it is, business.

Incase you want to know I'm currently renting the car at N25k weekly for 2weeks now and we are doing great while working on something else.

If I was dru23, my car won't have lasted 1 month in your hand. Your partner was fully incharge of maintenance of your car and at some point, you were remitting 10k per week, yet, you drove the car out of state and back and you were always here ranting about how your partner's car consumes fuel etc and now, you are champion for HP ? I don't know anyone that has completed a HP agreement. The 3 persons I knew, they either returned the cars themselves or it was retrieved.

That you don't know anyone who has, doesn't mean they don't exist, I have meet like 3 drivers on the road, who will be completing their payment by January.

After the car is eventually yours,Do you know you can still drive it for like 6 months to raise more funds and decide to sell. Add the money together and get yourself another toks?
And if your are not willing to continue with the business anylonger, then you have fund to invest in another biz.
Just as jpworld earlier said; hp deal is good if you have a working class spouse to survive it.
The two drivers i earlier mentioned's wife has a good job and owned a food store respectively.

I think I am being misunderstood.

I am not saying HP is bad. All I'm saying is that everybody should know his/her life plan before deciding to drive for two years.

I have plans for my life, and driving 6 days a week for the next two years, just to own a car (18 year old) is not in it. If Abakaliki boys have that planned out, it's fine. In all, we all pray to be successful and not a nuisance to the society.

People advice people to take HP over rentals, and I see it as wrong.

Let the person evaluate his life, and see if he can dedicate such period for it. If not, take rentals and walk away whenever you want.

That's my point

You reveal so much about who you really are only by typing. You are not the discreet type, always trying to throw shades at others that don't agree with you, or even your ex partners.

Before Dru, you had a partner here and you came here to tell us how she collected her car from you too.

Now you come again to say, you don't care about your partner (third party). Its just you and yourself..

Sincerely bro, I don't care if you pay 2000 every month as rentals. It's God's blessings for you

By the grace of God too, I will never collect a car for rental in my life too. I've passed this hustle and I've moved on to better things.

Stop rubbing your supposed success on our faces. You're not the only one God has blessed or is blessing

While I understand him, I feel the advice was trying to put a cart, before the horse.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think there's anyone that wanted to be a taxi driver as a kid. Most of us entered this hustle maybe because of one circumstance or the other

One question I ask people who want to venture into HP is: Do you think you can commit yourself, week in week out, driving back to back for the next two years just to own an 18 year old car?

One must be very sure he needs this, and not saying it is better than rentals

If someone starts a HP plan, and doesn't complete it, he has also distorted the plan of the partner. That car would be difficult to put on HP again

My point is, it depends on the life plan of the driver. If you feel you can drive for two years faithfully, please go on

If you are still skeptical about your life, and you don't have Uber driving as a dream, please opt for rental..

Any is better, depending on the person

Oga I no b taxi driver oo, can u compare fashion designer to tailor? Abeg oo, is too early *frown face*

Silence sometimes is the best thing and that's where Dru23 has been winning. You are not the first person to say this exact words to him. Let's see if he'll listen.

People that talk 2much tend to give them self away with so many incoherence.
I totally understand your point whch is do what favour you the must, that is if you can slave your self for 2yrs plus for a car that after that 2yrs the car will be mite be written off or you do rental and work towards other goals of your life but people tend to do copy copy and forget that all fingers are not equal.
To mi hp is mostly good for single guys or married pple that have a working class partner that earn high so dey can help out.

I was surprised someone said HP is better..

Anyway, to each, his own.
If I were looking for a car, I’d prefer HP. The only downside is having to pay twice the price. At 1.5x a reasonable car price, I think HP is indeed a better option.

Depending on how one looks at it, both are good options

I've it seems like you have a beef with me you don't wanna talk about.

This is me trying to give my honest opinion and advice I didnt mean any arm to any one and then someone will just come up from nowhere and attack my person. Reason with me, it is good?

If anyone thinks he has no spot in them let them cast the first stone.

Like I stated earlier, the country is barely getting better, so I advised HP to rental stating some reasons in addition and instead of us to have a brilliant conversation as a family some people which includes you decided to throw shades (not me this time) and you think it honourable.

See baba, if I've in mind anything against my past partners do you think i would still be mentioning, qouting or even singing his/their praise? Think about that.

Mind you, we entered into partnership after my first. So, can you see you're the one trying to create an invalid insulations and sane time throwing shades at an innocent man who have not wrong you??

If anyone thinks I've wrong them in anyway, let them come out now and speak or for ever remain silent.

Brethren,

All the roads around four points are one way drives.

Also, you can't connect to Oniru road from the lekki epe expressway ( no left turn) heading towards Falomo Bridge.

You have to make a U turn further ahead and double back as if heading to the toll gate and then make a right turn to Oniru road.

Stay awake!

Let's assume I'm driving in from ozumba Mbaduwe and heading towards Dmatel hotel, oniru. Is it one way like that?
What if I'm coming from Oniru mosque and headed towards palace road , turning in . Is that one way? Northbird, abeg use my scenario explain clearly. E no clear as you describe am so.

I myselfnim confused... Surprisely since the time the construction of the 3MD started I'd only gone to the Island 3x I think... So I'm really confuse.

@ northbird, are there road signs in place to indicate these new diversions of routes and traffic?

Most of you got to Ratautoworks to go and scan your cars for whooping sums of money. Even GuzzGuzz does scan for some of you for a whooping 10k.... Lol.

Me... I still use tried, tested and trusted Kazeems and Roadside mechanics to service and maintain my cars because they are very cheap. And trust me, they are good and excellent.

Even Ratautoworks that is offering free scan to you guys, do you think its really free? Lol. In your dreams.

One way or the other, you guys will still shell out some money for "Problems they will detect". Forget the part of "whether you want the service or not. One way or the other, you will pay. Even if its Jamaican rice of 3,500 abi 2,500. This is an old trick. wink wink wink
