I heard the commentator saying it's an assist though
He wasn't credited with it.

I have been watching one player intensely throughout this game....Elneny. Do we have anything there we can salvage/ build upon? He has had a good outing thus far today.

Longest time bro...
Even our fa cup win couldn't bring you out.

Nice to have you back

Hey its great to be back again and was fun seeing the usual banter from you guys every once in a while i checked in on the comments.

Sure the Fa Cup made it a good season in the end but i still need them to officially announce that Auba has signed as that would be the most critical phase in this new rebuilding process.

He's better than xhaka in that position, composed and skillful buy I like the new xhaka role going forward to join attack

3-0 and a clean sheet. We passed the ball very well at the back, not from the back. Hopefully, we can move/ transition the ball to the middle faster. There were moments where we spent too much time passing at the back and unable to get into Fulham’s half. Not a bad way to start the season.

When was the last time we dominated away...

We have started picking up away points and that is crucial if we must better last season.

That's why it isn't good to write off players so easily. Elneny can save us 30m this season and may fetch a decent price next summer.

Absolutely..

Gabriel brings calmness to the back line and for a 22 year old, that is quite impressive. He looked like he has been playing for a long time, that is what regular playing time does to players.

I hope we can build from this game as the coming games are going to be tougher.

Happy to see Laca scoring, he needs to stay in the scoring mix.

Kudos to Leno for saving his ass since the early mistake

Good job from the guys
The team pressed with high intensity, forcing fulham to make mistakes and play out of rhythm
The team should improve on transitioning quicker from defense to midfield
Hopefully we are able to add one or two quality players to the midfield before the transfer window closes

Also Holding has really turned the heads of Arteta. His looks composed on the ball. So much confidence in this team. I hope the best players will stay. Martinez should enjoy one more good season with us under Arteta before leaving. Who knows it could be Chelsea calling.

I must admit ,that was an entertaining match....
Leno. .. still doesn't have the imposing confidence possessed by martinez. Make we manage am sha. He really needs to know when to give either short or long pass ...5/10
Bellerin... I like the way he now timed his run (noticed it since that chelsea game) but for God's sake,we aren't playing rugby. He needs to improve his one vs one. 6/10
Gabriel.... was a bit nervy earlier in the game but overall,a nice debut . His goal was also sumptuous. I think he still need a bit of tutoring on long passes... 8/10
Holding. ... His greatest highlight in the game was that momentary ball jogging, grin grin even laca can't help it. If he can sort out his long passes, his partnership with Gabi will take us places. .. 8/10
Tierney.... A normal afternoon for my guy, I don't know why he rarely delivers crosses again, maybe it is due to the absence of martinelli...8/10
Elneny.... Very tidy and I'm happy he has reduces his trademark back passes. But he was lacking in positional awareness....7/10
Xhaka.... With the absence of Luiz, you will have expect him to take charge of those diagonal passes. A decent afternoon sha...7/10
AMN... Good in markings and tackling but he need to improve his final third delivery, very very poor. ... 6/10
Auba... Captain fantastic! Nice goal by the way. Say no more. .. 8/10
Laca.... There were times in the match where you missed Giroud. A great hustling afternoon for him. 7/10
Willian... How I wish that FK went in. Having 3 assists on his debut is just wow. ..9/10
Dani... Showed some energetic display when he came in. You can even feel that confidence from him and that nutmeg grin it was fantastic. ..5/10
Pepe..still the same pepe you already know... grin 5/10
Nketiah.... There was nothing to do when he came in...

It was quite heated, they had to be separated. Nketiah took exception to a tackle from Ceballos during middle man passing, Ceballos did not think it was bad, both mouthed at each other. Another round of passing with Ceballos in the middle started and he went harder at Nketiah and they got in each other’s face and had to be separated..
Ceballos sef grin . The guy is like his younger brother for God's sake. Anyway, dem go settle am

Seriously, what is the use of buying Aouar when we have Dani , Guen grin and Elneny in the role. ? The cash should be used to get a proper advanced MF instead. MO

No mind those people. They made a new rule for the season and couldn't own up to it...I mean the Willian handball was very very incorrect too.

The relationship between a defender and a goalkeeper is very important. He is new and is establishing that relationship with Leno. With more game time they will improve their verbal and non-verbal cues, timing and overall relationship. I expected that situation to occur but like you said, Leno was experienced and smart enough to read that play.

My Review
1. Leno is confidence is out of this world
2. Tierney eyes always on the ball, tackles spot on
3. Holding is becoming a beast at the back
4. Gabriel can be our Ramos
5. Bellerin finally showing us the bellerin we use to know
6. Niles the tireless marker mr universal
7. Elneny playing like Pirlo
8. Xhaka team leader & conductor
9. Willams the old wine keeps on getting better with age
10. Lacazette has a new fire in him
11. Auba i know its Thienery Henry please remove the mask
Subs
1. Cellabos am sure he must be related to Santiago Carzola
2. Pepe so much potential you need to fill up Robert Pires boots
3. Nkketiah work in progress.
0. Arteta i see wenger & pep DNA flowing through him
