When i first saw the beginning of the headline i thought they are giving us public holiday.
Atimes i use to wonder whats our next step to move forward in this country but it seems everyone have to mind his/her business. Please cant someone tell me the significance of what they want to do if not that they want to loot our money again

Which identity
The one most people who enrolled for the past 5-7years are yet to get their cards issued??

Somehow I wish the government can allow the banks to handle this, like if you bank with first bank, you can go there at your spare time, get your details captured or lifted from your account information and you can have your ID card printed within 24hrs. Excellent suggestion

Shebi we are already paying 1k for ATM cards..we can as well pay another 1k to get genuine national ID cards issued via the banks.

Most govt related services in this country are just a waste of resources.

Do you think they don't know how to do the right thing? How will some people enrich themselves if this is done? They will not allow it! All they know is to embezzle, embezzle, embezzle funds. angry angry

This is a laudable policy. I just hope they work in improving and making the national identity registration process faster and efficient. I still haven't registered yet because of various reasons, among them being the annoying fact that registration centers are almost always filled with people as early as 5am. smh

Create a website for this and stop telling us to go to crowd in a centre just for National Identity, so both children and adults can all get theirs from the comfort of their home. Then, we can now talk about digital economy.

Declare as what? Celebration or Holiday?
Re: FG Declares September 16 As National Identity day by Gbrika(m): 3:08pm On Sep 15, 2020
What is the impact of this on:
1. Naira-Dollar Exchange Rate? Also what impact on arresting herdsmen killing and destruction of communities, kidnapping, rapping etc?

2. The poor Electricity Power Availability?

3. Nigerian Students wasting away instead of being in their schools?

Government should focus on areas that seriously affect the large populace.

Expecting to see ' A -No-Electricity-Failure-Day.

there is a big significant bro ,that is why you can easily commit crime and run away freely...or a relative of yours was killed and till date people still think she or he killed her self not knowing that there are visible evidence to prove it was a murder case ,
Re: FG Declares September 16 As National Identity day by larryking540: 3:33pm On Sep 15, 2020
nice one federal government,,,,

I will also advise federal government to start with school fromm jss1 to ss3 because these are the new leaders or individuals of tomorrow ,they should be made to have a mandatory national identify aside the school I'd card.....before we go into work force or career individuals and hospital where getting their identify isn't difficulty
