My friend lives in Abuja and just got her PPR.
However, the VFS office in Abuja is not collecting passports (due to the COVID-19 situation).
Her medicals will expire in the next 4 months. What options are there for her?
Do you think she should DHL her document to the Ghana office?

Your advice would be most appreciated.

This might be coming late, sorry.
For me, a lot of the duties under her JD fall under both NOCs. She should have been able to use either. It would also have been ok to leave it at 6235, however, the only reservation I have is that the loans aspect of the duties are not detailed. It might be easy for an inexperienced VO to look at the JD and conclude that she did not do enough of loan processing, if you get what I mean. The VO might not even attribute the term 'risk assets' to loans (this is me assuming that an inexperienced VO might actually be reviewing applications). That being said, I think she can use 6235 though, but if I am to advise, I would say she should add an LOE to buttress that part of her JD and her role in creating loans and monitoring default and repayments for customers.

@Prettiepearlz I saw your follow up post talking about her going for OINP. In that case, she may be able to use 1114 but also accompanied by an LOE. I am still a little skewed towards 6235 if she can address the loans part.

Why does she want to dhl document?. You just said she just got ITA, what do VFS need your passport for? I hope you know the step after receiving ITA?

That guy doesn't want to know how the system works. Her brother invites her unto wetin? Temporary residence visa? I am pretty sure he wouldn't have got the ITA without that 15pts.

I was always afraid the lights had gone off when it appears as if the fridge has stopped working.. Obviously the thermostat regulating the temperature.
The lights has not blinked. My shoes hardly get dirty even after walking hundreds of metres.

I wrote Ielts once, was I that brilliant? NO. But one thing I had, was determination and God's grace. Infact I was damn slow, that I had to write the major essay in less than 10mins as I had no time. One thing on my mind was that, I won't be paying this exam fee twice, and God helped me.

As a youth try and explore other worlds, Nigeria is an upside down country - this is the best way I can describe it as I am short of words. A country where a PhD holder answers sir to a school certificate holder.

Has it been easy, sure no. But the pain is worth it. Well worth it.

Last word, don't do it for yourself, do it for your kids, your future generation, they will one day thank you.

My passport has 4 names : Last name + first name + 2 middle names

i could have sworn that i used the four (4) names when i initially opened my profile, the home page shows my 4 names but when i got my ITA, i saw just three (3) names and i cannot edit it and i do not know what to do as they are asking for exact name on the passport...

i opted yes for the question "Has this person ever used any other name? " but now i am required to submit legal documents of change of name ..... i am not changing my name, i have always had four name ..... what can i do because i dont any legal documents except my birth cert and i dont know what to put in my letter of explanation... i am so confused..

Nothing to edit and you put four names on your profile and same thing on passport. You should do LOE and explain what you just said .. upload with BC on the change of name placeholder. My thought.

For the sender of the money: No

For you: bank letters and statement showing the money, not necessarily 6months unless you have cash flow over that time that you need to show as evidence of part of your POF.

Pls what'd you mean by having cash flow yoi need to show as evidence? Before the lock down, I had more than enough for pof but by the time I got ita in the first draw after that long break, the money had reduce so I sold my car and added the money to the pof. I kind of concerned about it because i paid in about 1.9 to my account. But I added a loe including the receipts of purchase when I first got it and also receipt of sale. What'd you think? I'm really concerned because I heard they're usually concerned about funds that come in after ita

Hello all. Is there anyone here who got PPR and sent their passport to VFS Lagos for the visa before coro struck. Has such a person being able to retrieve passport back or its still at Accra.

A 'One And The Same Person' affidavit is a legal document you can easily obtain for 2k or so in Lagos.
The notary public or those who process it have a format already. Just state all for names & the different variants it has been used in the past.
The affidavit & ur birth certificate solves it. If ur mind is still doing u gbim gbim, add an LOE too.

Just withdraw the profile and create a new one. With 474 you should get ita in the next draw, tie-breaking rule shouldn't apply to you if the next draw is below 474.

I think it’s 30 hours work per week that’s the minimum standard, also Nysc was full time and paid employment so it’s inconsequential if Nysc was written on it or not according to knowledge gathered here.

My friend used her Nysc one year plus 5 months from somewhere and 1 year 8 months from another And she got it

I don't think that should be an issue. What they are interested in is whether it was full-time work and whether you were paid for that one year job and whether you performed the duties in the chosen NOC. The title of NYSC or not doesn't matter to them. Others may chime in but that's my 2 cents.
