Shocker

I hope it is not true but the links are strong.

Ekong to Watford.

That will be a major step down.

We already have Omeruo playing Segunda football and Rohr is ready to manage that but Ekong too?? This move better not happen.

We talking National team football here. We talking how that would affect the quality he brings to that starting position as our First XI CB and Asst. Skipper.

Besides it is the same Pozzo family that controls Udinese that also runs Watford.

La Liga has huge disparities in quality you have Barca and Real, then Sevilla and Athletico, then a group of 5/6 teams.

The rest are struggling for quality.

Consider that the most expensive player in the Leganes team is Omeruo who cost €5 million.

If you look at the Championship maybe the bottom end in general most teams will exceed that with players costing in excess of £10 million.

So being in lower level team in a top league does not equate to being a top quality player. However, a top performing player in the Championship will exceed £20 million.

So I do not think it is a step down in some regards a step up, If he does well he will be in the EPL.

In reality it puts a question mark on his quality, after a season in Seria A his value has not increased it seems and no other club in Seria A wants him.

No matter how you wanna coat it, it is a huge step-down!!!

Ekong is our national team captain when Ahmed Musa doesn't start. Ekong is a starter in our defence which is why his own move bothers me much more than Omeruo going down to the Segunda from La Liga. Omeruo is not a starter now for us. But Ekong is.

The only plus would be if He and Watford gains promotion or if he leaves Watford and this whole Pozzo family business nonsense (after one year at Watford) to a team in the Top-flight in England or any of the top 5 leagues. But until then....it is indeed a step down! Finito.

it shows he lacks ambition, he should be emulating top level defenders who made money and also played at the top level. Your talent and quality will earn you money

Really disappointing move. But I'll not be surprised if it happens. Watford, Udinese and Granada are owned by one family so they tend to trade players among their clubs.

Currently our best in Europe, if the yardstick was the strength of the leagues.

Osigwe is a big threat to Uzoho for that super eagles number 1 shirt, he was monstrous in his Swiss league debut today

Not a big threat to anything.

Good game today but I have seen more than enough of him.

Osigwe cannot touch Uzoho. I don see am tire.

Osigwe is still a greenhorn. Saw him against Inter. Not impressed one bit. And to be honest, nothing spectacular compared to Uzoho. Osigwe is just there and kinda decent.

Uzoho is the nation's #1 goalie with loads of experience already despite his youth and he has proven himself worthy so far.

Perhaps, but he is not really a good keeper. He can be 3rd choice in the team just to keep appearances.

Matthew Yakubu for that third spot, likely. Rohr seems drawn to taking a look at him from what I understand.
