I hope Ekong to wathford remain a rumour',
we don't want our two captains playing outside of top 5 leagues, even as I suggest Rohr should just make Ndidi the captain, orbeit when Musa retires. He should just forget about who is the most senior .
We need a captain that will always be on the pitch, also influential even off the pitch. I can't think of any other player right now.

That would be ideal but if the move to the Championship goes through so be it, it doesn't jeopardize his place in the squad

I'm sorry to say this - from reading you here I have the impression that most of our players are not good enough in your eyes and I don't think you'd be satisfied until our first eleven is made up thus:

------------------------Arthur Okonkwo - - - - - - - - - - -

Aina/Odubajo - - - Iorfa - - - Fikayo T- - - SeyiOjo

Onyedinma----- Aneke /Aluko - - - Josh Onomah

Solanke - - - - - Tammy - - - - - - - Edun

komekn:

La Liga has huge disparities in quality you have Barca and Real, then Sevilla and Athletico, then a group of 5/6 teams.

The rest are struggling for quality.

Consider that the most expensive player in the Leganes team is Omeruo who cost €5 million.

If you look at the Championship maybe the bottom end in general most teams will exceed that with players costing in excess of £10 million.

So being in lower level team in a top league does not equate to being a top quality player. However, a top performing player in the Championship will exceed £20 million.

So I do not think it is a step down in some regards a step up, If he does well he will be in the EPL.

In reality it puts a question mark on his quality, after a season in Seria A his value has not increased it seems and no other club in Seria A wants him.

Quality football sir, that's the point. Not money.

You're telling us from Ekong facing Ronaldo, Dybala, Ibrahimovic, Lukaku, Gómez week in week out, to facing your borough boys that can only pray to be ball boys in these teams is a step up?

Do you even understand what it is to be defending against Ronaldo for 2 seasons? That's 4 matches?

Then he should go and be facing dem Solanke and Pukki?

Bros, fear God o. Fear God.

I think we've gotten used to you hyping English whatever, but dey fear God while hyping them also.

Facing Solanke that scored only 1 EPL goal last season is an upgrade to facing Ronaldo, 5 time balón d'or winner!!!

You clearly don't understand what it means to be captain then.

Being captain speaks about your influence in the team. It doesn't matter if you're playing in Japanese J3 league. How influential are you in the team? Can you say something and everyone will agree, based on respect?

Now, tell me again, how you think Wilf will become captain undecided

The first choice is Noam Baumann. He is injured. That is why Osigwe is starting.

He is first choice b'cos the actual first choice is currently injured. Osigwe is a decent goalie but nothing spectacular. He's just there. He has his Akpeyi moments too.
Uzoho is still way better. But I admit with more games in the Swiss Super League, he could come into the picture of things regarding our goalie choices where we are having the likes of Okoye, Yakubu and even the "real" Akpeyi. wink
