henrinco: To add to this: Before or after Getting PR, it is your responsibility to get the right certification for you to practice in Canada. All IRCC wants to know is that you have a degree or two and enough work experience to cover the points you are claiming. Shikena!!! |

Hello good people. I am claiming sibling points and in the process of putting the documents together now, I just realized that the middle name on my passport is different from the middle name on my birth certificate. The is the same issue for my brother (middle name on PR card is different from middle name on birth cert) Problem is that our baptism names are our middle names on our passports and they are different from the middle names on the birth certs. We cannot find any documents relating to the baptism unfortunately. I have seen a few cases on the forum where people got 'one and the same affidavits' but I am confused as in our case, the middle names are completely different in both documents. My questions are; Do I swear this 'one and the same' affidavit and also explain the difference in names in my LOE? Or do I swear a change of name affidavit?(if this is a different document) Does my brother also have to swear an affidavit since I will be submitting both his PR card and birth cert as well? If yes, does he have to swear the affidavit there in canada or can I get him a document here in lagos? I would appreciate all the help I can get as I am totally confused. Thank you |

Dimple10: @SolomonAdeola its your card limit. See my response above, it applies. Also someone mentioned using a stanbic or Access bank card as they have a higher limit. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Dimple10: 2:46am On Sep 20, 2020 |
Mobabaola: I think a one and same person affidavit should cover it. Also just explain in an LOE that you answer all the given names or better yet just get a new birth certificate and include all the names you answer that appear on your credentials and legal documents. Problem solved! |

Hi everyone. I was attacked at the ATM center and i lost my phone to that effect and as such I don't have access to my email due to the 2 step verification code. I can't find those codes anymore. I have been trying to recover the email back for some days now but all efforts put abortive. I have sent email to Google that I am the righful owner of the email and Google said they will get back to me in 3 to 5 working days. WES received my transcript a day after the incident happened. I tracked my transcript and it as gotten to WES. What is the solution to my email with WES before they will update my profile? Please how can i change my email address with WES before they send verification email to my school ? Or if you have any other suggestions on how to go about. |

HELP HELP HELP!!!! Goodday house, please i am an accountant, i have an acca advanced diploma, but i am not fully chartered, i choose noc 1111 which is financial auditors and accountants. Even tho i get chartered here, in canada, acca is seen as bsc, to get chartered i still have to do canadian chartered exam for me to practice as an accountant in canada. According to the noc, for me to use noc 1111, i have to be chartered, which i am not, although my work experience is as an accountant. So house please should i still choose noc 1111, or should i just go with accounting technician which is noc 1311, its also an accountant but a less qualified one |

Hello, Please is there any applicant who has successfully completed WES evaluation of postgraduate programs (such as Masters of Business Administration, etc) offered by Lead City University for the purpose of Canada Express Entry application? Thanks |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Flakeyy: 11:18am On Sep 20, 2020 |
Grreenk: I'm an accountant and I am not chartered. I used NOC 1111 and from my GCMS notes, my employment has been approved ok. It doesn't matter if you're chartered or not, as long as it aligns with your job duties, it will fly |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Hellvicks(m): 11:28am On Sep 20, 2020 |
Grreenk: I am an auditor/risk consultant (and in turn an accountant) and used NOC 1111 neither I’m I chartered (yet). Ideally, your job responsibilities determine the appropriate NOC. I have former colleagues who have japa’d to Maple land and weren’t chartered. So look through the job responsibilities of both NOC to see which best suits your current job role and go with it. |

Good afternoon. I'm Pre ITA, and my good friend directed me here. Experienced people in the house, kindly help me with this question. I've been working with an organization since 5years ago, but this coy has no online presence but it's registered with CAC. My Boss is willing to provide me with reference letter and all other documents to back up work with them. It's a small organization with just 5 staff. My fear now is will the lack of online presence affect my application? Kindly help me. Thanks. |

How much does police report, biometrics and medical check up cost? Second, will they at any point in time request for my birth certificate? I am the only one applying. I ask because the middle on my birth certificate is different from the one on my other documents . “Kenechukwu” is on my birth certificate while “Kelechi” is on my other documents including passport . Hope this will not be an issue? 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Maneq: 4:13pm On Sep 20, 2020 |
nekkyblues: 1. Biometrics is 80CAD payable mandatorily alongside application fee on application submission post ITA. Police report in Lagos, give or take 9k. Medicals at Qlife is 35k, IOM is about forty something. 2. Nobody requires you upload BC except you are claiming sibling points and need to prove relationship. 2 Likes |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Dimple10: 4:14pm On Sep 20, 2020 |
nekkyblues: Police report: 3,500 - 10,000 (depends on bargaining power). Search for inspector moshood if you are in Lagos. Medicals: 35k at Qlife, 45k (i think) At IOM Biometrics: check ircc and vfs website or someone else can clarify. As for the name issue, a one and same person affidavit or just a get a new birth certificate. I’m not sure whether you submit birth certificate as i’ve not gotten to that stage in the journey but it’s better to clarify the name issue now. |

Atdeejay12: Same questions, different providers and similar fees. I think IDP uses headphones for all their listening sessions and BC doesn’t. Also BC has computer based exams and IDP doesn’t (to the best of my knowledge). |
