The problem we have is that everyone has been arranging best Chelsea 11 since the summer, salivating at the prospects of heavenly football, and expecting everything to click from the outset -.hit the ground running essentially. The display of lack of patience is staggering.

I have always felt we will not see 1st gear football until about 10 games in.

I mean we've started to see people break ranks with Lamps even with only 2 games in. Pulisic, Ziyech, Chilwell, Silva, Mendy, and a fully integrated Havertz yet to join the team, and people are already making conclusions.

We were playing a balanced game until Chris had to do what he did (knowing the kind of keeper he has, I doubt he would have done that with Cech behind him). It was still a game we could have held our own until Kepa gifted another goal.

I'll give Lampard one more week to fix his shît because this is not the team we want to see. I'll wait for him to start using a front four of Pulisic, Havertz, Ziyech, and Werner. So far he's just struggling with drab football.
