From this thread posted earlier concerning Nigerian sustainability index I think new states can be made from the above states I mentioned since they're all viable and don't owe much and can sustain themselves
https://www.nairaland.com/6142031/top-5-nigerian-states-fiscal
Link above for those who haven't seen it

Then Abia should be merged to their neighbours in Imo and Ebonyi states since they're not viable..

Meanwhile oyo, kwara, osun, Ekiti and Lagos should be merged together since they can't survive on their own as a state.. I hope this makes sense cool

Alaigbo to the whole world cool

My brother, this new statistics shock me oh!
So ụmụ Igbo carry business mind enter state management. They use their Igbo mentality to run the states that some like Ebonyi will be telling the whole world that she is poor while she is the 8th richest state in Nigeria by "money at hand" typical of how an Igbo man will be wearing bathroom slippers in a 2 by 2 shop and be screaming njọ ahịa While he is building mansions in the village.
Yoruba own no surprise me as 4 out of six is poor and broken (not broke o) by "money at hand" typical of how they will borrow millions to do owambe like kings while their roof is leaking

It can't go to hell because it affects the citizens of the States involved.. For instance osun state is indebted and where unable to pay salaries to the poor civil servants who went on to beg in the streets.. So it matters

Abia state should be merged into Akwa Ibom ibom.
Especially Arochukwu and Ngwa which is an ancestral ibibio land.
We will welcome them Lol Arochukwu people have Ibibio blood in them they are our brothers!

What a nitwit, what you call igbo land today is sitting on ancestral ibibio land.
Go read up your history, read pre colonial Aro - Ibibio wars, and ibibio - Ngwa wars. This are ibibio ancestral lands.
Many ibibios migrated after the wars toward the the ocean to the present day Akwa ibom but majority stayed back to hold on to their Ancestral land and sacred grooves in both Arochukwu and Ngwa check out (Ibin Ukpabio)Arochukwu. dont be decieved by the fact that Arochukwu and Ngwa people speak igbo today does not mean that the majority of them do not know their ibibio roots . In fact most of then are fluent in both language.
I know many families in those land who only marry from Akwa ibom to preserve their ibibio bloodlines.

1. Stupidity looks good on you.

2. Stop causing division among ndigbo.

3. You can't even analyze statistics from the NBS chart.

4. Abia is neither poor nor unsustainable on a long-term basis, they only need consistent strongwill from leaders.

Lol you dont know your history. I can tell you for free that most families and villages in those area only marry from Akwa ibom to preserve their ibibio bloodlines. They have been doing this for centuries.
Tell me the reason why most igbo people hate/biased and ridicule people from these ancestral ibibio land of Arochukwu, Abriba, Ngwa etc? If you go to those areas you will find them playing cultural dances like Ekpo, Ekpe, Nsibidi writing, ukara clothes and you will find mbong Ekpo and Mbong Ekpe over ther. I visit my cousins in Arochukwu so I know this first hand.
