Annettevoke: Your monthly salary will decide that. Is 600k way above above your monthly salary? For example, if I earn 400k-450k (and below) monthly, 600k is definitely a lump sum deposit. If I earn 500k and above monthly, 600k may not be considered as lump sum. |

Agapemade: Spouse unaccompanying means you get to sponsor your spouse later BUT you have to declare them in your application. There’s really no pros and cons to the situation. |

Lotusgoddess: I don't think Bnt is still accepting students for the November exam except you want to register for their crash course but personally I won't advice that especially if you do not have an IT background. You can't take the exam anytime, it usually happens twice a year only. Depending on what you want, you can either wait for the next exam happening early next year or find out about other courses you can take that Wes accepts. It's not just BCS they accept. 1 Like |

Good afternoon all, Enlightened seniors should please help me with this issue: a. I created an EE profile December 2019 with an ECA number (lets call it 12345), I have secured an ECA for an additional certificate (say 6789) and I'm looking to update my profile as two or more certificates. Do I leave the first ECA i got and update only the new ECA report? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Yellowmellow(f): 1:51pm On Oct 02, 2020 |
aykevictor789: You will update both certificates but you have to go back to the first input you made and change the eca number that was there before. You will change it to this new number on the report you just got. 1 Like 2 Shares |

For someone who has applied for visitor visa to Canada 4 yrs ago but denied . To the question that said, in the past 10 year, have you given your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) for an application to come to Canada? Is this a YES or NO? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by DebbieWilliams: 2:33pm On Oct 02, 2020 |
PRFirstlady: If you gave biometrics, it’s a YES. |

Colb461: ...paid work, minimum 30hrs per week in NOC categories A, B and 0 is the floor on which you can stand. It matters little whether it was a private or public school. 2 Likes |

Nma86:you cannot use your bsc or pgd for that noc with sinp. There is no other pnp you can apply for now. Some of them chose from the pool, its at their discretion. |

Nma86: I will give little hint here see above Where is your "wife to be" "does she have a master " " is she below 30 years" "can she speak French" "can you also learn French" Those are ways you can increase your score before age erode all your opportunities. Be smart. Good luck. |

Decision to travel: Since my undergrad days, I’ve always nurture the possibility of staying permanently in a first-world nation. However, all forms of discrimination I experienced when pursuing my MEng degree in South Africa made me develop sheer determination to pursue Canada EE program. Also, the opportunity to become a Canadian citizen excites me. How did I know about EE? Back then in Lagos, my ogas at my workplace (including the HR that recruited me) were all disappearing to Canada in 2016/2017. Out of curiosity, I gathered some info & came to nairaland to know more. Surprisingly, reading about how straightforward the process is, the exodus of people leaving Naija & seeing all the beautiful Canadian pictures struck me & at that moment, I knew I go get the PPR email one day. ECA: Frustrations in SA led me to evaluate my undergrad degree with IQAS despite knowing that I wouldn’t get ITA with my score. IQAS took a whole 9 months - they no try at all. After getting my IQAS ECA, I proceeded to register for IELTS & was fortunate to record L 8.5, R 8.0, W 7.5, S 7.0 - I actually thought I’ll fail the speaking test - English hard . Afterwards, I created my EE profile. Upon completing my MEng program, I immediately forwarded my official transcript & letter of completion to WES. WES response was swift, can’t remember the timeline. Then boom! 475. I got ITA 2 draws after updating my profile & the journey begins. Collating documents: I was a bit proactive. I’ve arranged all my docs prior to submitting my WES application. Gift deed came from my Elder Brother (God bless you young man) & was notarized. As I dey prepare to submit my application in SA, I got a PhD offer from USA & I was like, I still get time make I go submit this thing for yankee. Submitting my application: January 2rd, 2020. I tried everything to submit my application but e no go just transmit. Hello Village people, I’ve come a long way you can’t stop me now. I was frustrated & slept over it. I woke up on January 3rd, 2020 to revisit my profile & I realized the application wasn’t transmitting because it’s a new year & I suppose update my work experience (the system wants to know what I’ve been doing from Jan 1st - Jan 2nd, surprising right? The systems discovered a gap in my history). Quickly, I put my new role as a GRA & it came downed on me to also update my SA address to USA address. Finally, I submit the application Oo. AOR was almost immediately. Receiving Updates: Passed medicals 23rd January & got biometrics request few days after. COVID-19 happened & the estimated completion date of my application (July, 3rd 2020) got expended. I became inpatient & started calling IRCC every other day. In August, I ordered GCMS notes & everything came as passed. Yesterday, I received a message in my mail to check my profile. Na so I see PPR letter and “Review of Additional Documents changed to Not Applicable”. GCMS notes showed how Case Analyst ransacked Facebook, LinkedIn & other platforms to confirm work experience and other checks. Thank you everyone & I’ll drop landing gist accordingly. Na soft landing e go be as I still dey yankee trying not to run mad due to the insane grad study work. Lastly, I’m open to helping anyone in anyway I can. #Blessings. 60 Likes 4 Shares |
