Oh, well I'm not of the opinion that they're irresponsible, but truth is majority are Jobless.(in Nigeria).

In Canada you can work per hour. Maybe after working like 6 - 7hrs and you got your pay, then you can go home to watch BBN.
But is that the case in Nigeria? absolutely No.
pls tell d jobless gal dat thinks women abroad ar like naija women dat will b at home 4rm morning to nyt watching tv waiting 4their husband/boyfriend to go and hustle and finance dat lavish lifestyles

You're right. But the problem is that a lot of 'jobless' people happen to have illicit money in Nigeria o. Counterintuitive but true. Numerous mid level and high class oloshos, fraudsters, rentiers, scheming contractors, middle men, and other shadowy characters etc...along with their dependants and beneficiaries. Them plenty for Abuja and Lagos at least. Go to some random houses in middle class or high brow neighbourhoods on any random weekday morning and afternoon, you will see full grown ladies, men and women lazing around in their air-conditioned living rooms, watching Netflix, Dstv....and BBN of course, lol.

Those who have actual jobs (who have to work hours everyday for their daily bread) simply cannot have time to watch this nonsense all day long.

Interesting perspective you have here

Rubbish talk.
Every now and then, some of you come here to blame the Youth as lazy! Who are the Major organ in society to create Job? - Govt.
-Who ate the major spender of Money all over the World? Government
- Who are the Major shakers and movers of a Nation Economic Prosperity? Govt.
These government can be Local Govt,State and Federal that has all resources in their care, yet foolish people are saying they should not watch BBN!
Is there any means or meaningful Projects that govt have been calling the Youth for and these Youth have not turned up to work? If there is no Work,so they should go and lie on expess-road,abi?
We have been calling the attention of the various Stakeholders to note that in places like Europe,USA and UK,Govt interventions is in form of GRANTS NOT LOAN.If there is going to be loans, they are flexible, with a very Low INTEREST(1% to 3%) to encourage more Entrepreneurs as done abroad, but here, the Shylock's leaders are everywhere, including the CBN that ought to know better! Too Shameful!
That is why the Nation Nigeria is moribund as Politicians have high-jack even normal employment of 774,000-Youth Empowerment.Lets know this -the Countries like America,Israel,Dubai will not wait for Nigeria to develop. We must stop all the greedy leaders roaming about in both State and National Assembly as winners takes all.
They have nothing for the Youth.
God Bless Nigeria.

Thank you Op for this thread, at least it will serve to enlightenment those ignorant fools who think they can always blame some else for their misfortunes in life

1. BBN is basically an entertainment show,, your not forced to watch it, it you feels your not cool with it stfu and engage in other things you like, for God's sake they are other things we all do with our time for fun, some of us watch football how much has it added to our account since we started watching, some of us argue messi and Ronaldo from morning till night, do they even know or give a rat ass about us? ur guess is definitely same as mine, most of you argue wizkid, Davido and burna boy, how much have they given you so far, lol., some of you watch porn, movies etc tell me how much those stuffs have added to your account fool

2. BBN is a privately sponsored programme, its not sponsored by the government you ignorant mofos, every investor invests in what bring them profit, last I checked there's nothing stopping you from setting up an investing in your so called "educational reality show". You can't tell an investor what to do with his money

3. I see some children up there already playing the gender card with the OP, it goes to show you how empty these guys are, who being of no value and worth in real life, take solace in bashing women online to boast their ego.

4. BBN is not the cause of your failure in life, neither is it the cause of Nigeria's bad roads, unemployment, power failure, closure of schools or underdevelopment of Nigeria in general, on the flip side BBCAN is not responsible for the development of Canada, the government it, channel your anger to the government not private people that are making the money on investment in entertainment

5. Get a life pls, cause if you do you won't have the time to be wailing on a faceless forum about things or people that don't give a bleep about your opinion. People are making their money, more than half of the house mates were make millionaires, multi choice raked in billions, sponsors same, over 30 voter won I million naira each, house mates getting endorsements and sponsorship while you keep getting poor, and running to a faceless forum to wail, keep wailing

Well said
And articulately written

The major difference between bbn and bbcan is that in nigeria there's really not much else happening . Big brother did not start in nigeria. It was first aired in holland in 1999, then usa in 2000 and has been held in 54 different countries since then with over 400 seasons. It's a much bigger deal here because nigeria is a poor country with a lot less opportunities in entertainment . Can anyone name one major star in any developed country that came from big brother the way Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift among others came from idols? Nope. Erica has been quoted as saying she's made 85 million naira which is a big deal here but in dollars thats only about 200k. She cannot cough where the likes of Kim Kardashian are.
In 2019 each Kardashian went home with 930,000 dollars per episode . No one in big brother anywhere comes anywhere close to that. The reason why we dont hear about big brother usa etc is because there are bigger things happening there . PERIOD .

Do you know why I created this thread? Ok here is why. Some persons think that those watching BBN are irresponsible and jobless.
Since most of us worship the whites, I brought this here to show us that the whites also watch and participate in Big Brother. Are they also irresponsible and jobless?
Do they worship the participants over there like some of you are doing to laycon and the rest housemates?

So this is your justification for the useless show Abi? We must copy them because they are doing it ba?

She's saying rubbish, i know she's another paid agent by BBN team, trying to convince people to watch the show. Same way musicians and bloggers are paid to promote the show all over and this nairaland. I'll use my time on something useful instead of this immoral show. Never
