Benharama hasn't spend his entire career in the championship like Iorfa.... He has played in the ligue1 too..
I don't think Iorfa will have an agent so bad that he won't get a move to at least a bottom table EPL team...
And all these talks of politics at Wolves is nonsense... Wolves are at the best level ever since the premier league era! .. it's all thanks to Nuno and Jorge Mendes who have worked hard to transform the club... I'm very sure that wolves fans themselves aren't complaining of having so many Portuguese players in their squad as long as they are getting good results..
Iorfa should move!
He is in his prime already ..

I can boldly assure you iorfa has a very poor agent at least he can walk up to mid table team in EPL I can assure you of that
And concerning the politics in wolves it is nonsense like you've said but it is true last time I check Soares is the only england player starting for wolves ( not sure I'll do research maybe there is a new development)
Wolves right now is going to Portuguese league to get youngsters that will play for them I can tell you there are more than 50% of portuguese in wolves academy thats the politics in wolves.

Yes they are all same. We are second option but if Ansu Fati and Nketiah were to be of Nigerian decent.

In February, Nketiah said he would be open to play for us and in April, Fati made same declaration.

Whose paperwork would you make a priority?

The both but I can boldly tell you fati clearance will be faster than nketiah

It is one thing to declare, and it is another thing to EARN an invite. Iorfa has not done anything of note to be considered for a call up.

He was questioning Onyeka's ability because he has been at Midttjyland first team for just 2 years+

Iorfa has been switching championship and League one for 7 years, 7 good years. Does that mean all top tier teams are too blind so the supposedly best defender?

It simply indicate that dude ain't good enough.

Thats double standard IMO grin

What then is stopping him from changing his agent? undecided
Maybe he is comfortable playing in the championship and league one..

You see wolves, let them carry on abeg...
The club was shite when it was filled with mediocore English boys, now with Nuno and the Portuguese, they are a team that can give the big boys in the league a serious run for their money..
That further proves how shite English players are in comparison to the rest of Europe's Giants!

I really love wolves development but their development is a little bit detrimental to their academy they have a good academy set up like chelsea et al but the good English are not given chance to prove themselves no caps wolves have really improved that's why their fans ain't complaining as long as they are winning.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 9:39am On Oct 06, 2020
No. You are the one taking it personal seeing how you went on and on pushing the point that Moses Simon's one goal puts him in same bracket as Samuel Kalu.

I have watched both Kalu and Simon this season and I can tell you for free that Simon has dropped two stinkers already this season for Nantes vs Monaco and Lille while Kalu has been much better for Bordeaux within same period. I have also watched our other wingers in Ejuke and Chukwueze. Musa has been inactive of late.

My statement was one of simple fact based on "this particular period in the 2020/21 season" and from what they have shown so far but you kept on saying it is subjective even when I showed you the factual angle I came from.

You picked Iheanacho obviously b'cos he has better experience compared to Onuachu and new boy, Dessers. How many has Onuachu and Dessers played compared to Nacho? Also, Nacho has what it takes to play in dynamic fashion with the likes of Iwobi, Chuks and whatever winger we pick on the left. He has the ability to deliver in the role just like a striker as natural as Dessers. So don't use the pick of Nacho to cover that.

In Simon and Kalu's case, both are just as experienced and fit to start on the left yet you picked Kalu.
You kept saying Simon this and that yet you picked Kalu for your front three. Or a Simon Moses on the LW cannot also see us defeating Algeria??

And you don't go stylish yet you began referring to last season (2019/20) about how "people in here" kept hyping Kalu based on one goal. I asked you who and you haven't provided an answer and you say you are not being stylish.

You say he remained on one goal throughout last season despite "some people hyping his one goal" and you think I would not ask ask if you suggest he would also remain on these two goals he has bagged this season?

You said something about "same story" and I asked what same story, you also haven't addressed that. Please... And please... This was never a direct comparison between Simon and Kalu. I said Kalu is the most inform of our wingers currently and that was based on actual observations and facts. I didn't just make that comment.

But if you still don't get my angle, then I can drop the Sofascore ratings of both players in Ligue 1 for all games played so far if you don't want to see that Simon is not in same form level as Kalu for now.

These things change and are temporary like I since pointed out but right now, Kalu is the winger in much better form among our wing men. Finito.

BascoVanVeli:

You are taking it too personal biko. Are we fighting? I said it was subjective and it is when one goal is the difference. Did I also include Iheanacho on form These are players I know well, I picked a team I felt can beat Algeria.

I am not stylish at anything I ever do. Don't make me out to be a hater for my opinion. If he continues on the same vain after the break then we discuss but not now and yes he can be stuck on 2 goals but that is totally up to him.

Yea I know but there are so many words to represent it

That's his way. He always makes those kind of comments to connect with the fans. That was probably the first thing that came to mind when most saw the list. Just like he supported the majority voice when Stephen Odey was at MFM. I am sure Rohr doesn't take it too serious.

Yh that might true ( not confirmed though ) but it is the NFF that will start the paperwork a player can not file a change of allegiance form without the country the he wants to change to consent.
Therefore Nigeria must show interest before his paper works can start.

Akpoguma said he was not interested AT ALL, his Father confirmed the same position it was somewhat derogatory for over three years and was consistent in that position all through.

Then he does a U TURN and we get him FIFA cleared at supersonic speed.

Eze expressly confirmed his commitment to play for Nigeria, but we left him in the wilderness for three years.

Tomori was there to be capped before he blow we did not commit to him and he did not commit to us.

Saka and Tega never said no unequivocally to Nigeria but made a choice to play for England.

But Akpoguma Warri pikin or not made it blatantly clear in public, I AM NOT INTERESTED, I want to play for Germany.

We went BEGGING, IMPRESSED UPON HIM, CONVINCED HIM.

That's double standard.

Meanwhile Ovie, Ademola, Tosin, lorfa, deh wait after all the promises by Rohr NUTTIN

First of all, Akpoguma switch started around March this year around the same time Ejaria own started but Akpoguma has a Nigerian passport which was said was delaying Ejaria's own. I don't know where you are Heading with all you wrote but just to remind you that Ehizibue(A German born) also committed around the same time and he wasn't invited so it just disproves whatever conspiracy theories you are out to prove

And as for Lookman and Iorfa, they wouldn't get into our team based on last season performance.

As for Tomori, you don't invite a player with the hope of "if he blows" just because of he's an FB, there are other "if he blows" home grown players who are also constantly overlooked. You have to be the best player to play for the national team

Finally Tammy Abraham clearly said playing for UA was not an option, even worst than whatever Akpoguma said. And I insist, none of your Borough boys committed openly like him. Na from Tunde Adelakun and Pinnick we dey hear say Lookman, Akpom and Ejaria don commit and clearly supported them calling it discreet commitment.

Iorfa can't challenge Ekong.

Ekong didn't debut for the NT while playing in the Championship. Y'all should stop dreaming as if a Championship team play will make his debut for us because he's English.

Nigeria has a lot of CB options right now.
Ekong
Balogun
Omeruo
Ajayi
Akpoguma
Awaziem

We're looking for competition, but not competition from a glorified championship player that hasn't played top flight football.

Ekong and Omeruo are playing second division right now, but they have played at the highest level for years before. Now, has Iorfa played first division before?

You guys really think a Championship player poses a threat. Omo na wa o.

A player with all his might and stat, can't get even the most mediocre PL team to sign him.

Even if Ekong is dropping disasterclass, so long as Ekong and Iorfa are in the championship together, and both of them are playing. Dom can not displace Ekong. Easy with it already angry

Ejaria has a Nigerian passport but it takes longer for English guys to switch, Tammy and Tomori flirted with us to force Southgate's hand, its a common tactics now.

First of all that's not the issue but the blatant double standard.

For how many years have we been getting clearance for Ademola, Ovie etc

But we got clearance for Akpoguma who rejected NIGERIA OUTRIGHTLY in a matter of weeks.

On the other hand there are 100 times more players of Nigerian origin in the UK than Germany.

Bros you are a man of facts.
Is it a coincidence that everytime we have tried to get an English fb player...the switch takes 6months to a year??..ebuehi...balogun...akpoguma all took weeks from d moment they agreed to play for us. ....you don't think there is some sort of challenge in the switching process when it comes to English players.?....It doesn't make sense to assume the nff delays the switch of players.

Then secondly..all these borough boys you mentioned, when they finally agree did the switching process start immediately or did it take 6months to start the process....if yes, then did the nff bribe fifa to delay the process??.when you think of these scenarios you will realize that the problem myt just be the English FA...because I recall one of the trusted monikers here once mentioned the fact that the switch procedure has a part where the FA of the country being switched from with play a part...

I wonder.

I could easily speculate in the negative.

Akpoguma who said he has no interest in playing for Nigeria publicly. Has done a complete U turn after Rohr " BEGGED, Convinced, impressed upon him" whatever its double standard.

In a matter of weeks, clearance completed.

I learnt Lookman's switch had been done but I still agree there is double standard at play.

Nevertheless, I love this news. grin

I will correct you a lot more than that, l will remind you of just three.

Anichebe, Aluko and Akpan, we used them they were outstanding for the SE and summarily dumped them without explanation for players like SHEHU and others.

With regards to Akpoguma there is blatant shameless double standard, it or because Rohr is German. So it's OK to beg the GERMANS who have rejected us consistently for 3 years plus.

That of Anichebe and Sone shocked me.
