@forgiveness, this is why switching from England takes time unlike other nations. There's no British national team but all 4 FAs have to vet the approval before it goes to FIFA.

I have seen it. Thanks

Is Ejaria a makeshift? Is Aribo a Makeshift? Even Nwakali can play 10 but is far more at his very best when played from deep in a CM/DLP role. Is he also makeshift?

I just told you the options we will have in the coming months. Iwobi, Ejaria and ofcos the possibility of Aribo covering for both the AM and CM positions in the light of Nwakali's gradual re-emergence in La Liga.

So that is it.

And Eze didn't say his regret was based on being snubbed. Nope. He didn't even hint at it. He hasn't even been snubbed when invited to Barnet or was he in 2017? He said comparing his time with England U-21s last year to the time he spent with Nigeria in Barnet (in March 2017) made him realise that he would have seriously regretted picking Nigeria over England. He said he felt more drawn to England. He felt more "English" he insinuated.

Nedum Onouha had to even stop him from saying more on that. Nedum cautioned him to not use the word "regret" wrongly with Nigeria seeing that Nigeria even gave him a chance to come train with them. So Biko... EZE's heart, for now is where it is. Until something changes, he is not exactly in the picture of things. He can wait for his England call-up.

He would have regretted picking Nigeria.... that was made after he was SNUBBED and it's UNDERSTANDABLE.

Are all these aforementioned NATURAL AMF or MAKESHIFT? because I am tired of makeshift players.

Are they better than Eze? I would like to know.

Let us clear this.

No one begged Akpoguma. Akpoguma’s father wanted him to play for Nigeria but the boy wanted to wait for his opportunity with Germany. Once Germany looked impossible, he indicated his interest to represent Nigeria.

Ejaria and Lookman are in the process too.

Abraham went back on his word once England showed interest. Once he saw England green light, he denied his uncle, Pinnick.

I thought you said Lookman has been cleared. Please, confirm.

It'd be disservice to other performing players should Rohr had called up Eze to the 2018 WC. Even Osimhen who was in the team didn't make the cut. Ola Aina who took part in the WQC was dropped for an almost retired Echiejile.

It's best we just watch how things play out Eze expressing he'd have regretted turning for Nigeria should tell you something. Eze is one player, there are more players who will even play better than him. Why not clamor for Micheal Olise to be drafted in don't you see how good a player he is.

Make we leave sentiment one side, which ever way let's remove expectation of Eze and we'll be okay. Nigeria has gotten over the Saka disappointment, we'll get over this too.
My reason for wanting Eze to be called up is in respect to the position he plays; attacking midfield!
We were short of options in midfield after the world cup...it was just Mikel,Ogu,Ndidi and Etebo... Rohr didn't start using Iwobi as an attacking midfielder until when the world cup was close..

Eze was about the best available option we had then... I felt he would have been a solid addition to the team....

This picture shows that Dele Alampasu isn't up to his listed height of 1.99 metres or 6 ft 6 inches, Semi Ajayi who is 1.93 metres or 6 ft 4 inches is even taller than him. Therefore,Francis Uzoho who is 1.96 metres or 6 ft 5 inches is taller than Alampasu.

Actually Hope was very good in midfield fractured his shoulder for Nigeria and we forgot him.

Anichebe was also very good but dropped.

Anichebe wasn't dropped, he actually rejected our invitation after overcoming his injury woes. He said nobody from NFF and the coaching crew communicated with him during his injury woes.

Oluislong:
Captain Ahmed Musa, whose future at Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr remains unclear, and late call-up Paul Onuachu are now the only players yet to join up with the Super Eagles in Austria, officials said.

Ahmed Musa has not been involved in his club’s AFC Champions League campaign since the club made a new star signing.

Onuachu, on the other hand, was a late replacement for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who was excused from the friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia because of travel restrictions caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic.

“Both players should be with us before lunch time,” Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye disclosed.

The squad has been boosted by the arrival of LASK Linz goalkeeper Okiki Lawal, who officials explained was originally invited by the team but his availability was in huge doubt.

There are now four young goalkeepers in Austria – Dele Alampasu, Matthew Yakubu and Maduka Okoye.

The Eagles will have their first training this morning.

Nigeria take on African champions Algeria on Friday night, before they tackle Tunisia next week Tuesday.

The matches will prepare the team for 2021 AFCON double-header against Sierra Leone next month.

Ahmed Musa has not been with his club in over a month now but in Nigeria playing street football. Whatever the case is is not understandable cos he's not making any transfer to any club (still don't understand his invite)

Podcast was made in May this year and it wasn't related to any snub but rather the training with both nations. England U21 in 2019 and Nigeria in 2017. He said he felt more inclined to the English than Nigeria that he'd have 'regretted' picking Nigeria after his little time with the English U21.

Baba listen and dont bring snub into this cos his bone of contention isn't snub or anything.

Is this u tryna insult the man? Because, he could come up with the financial prowess of those league 1 teams with the aim to deride the Bulgarian league.

AM roles in this picture isn't truly a better representation

AM can also be SS as the case maybe. Look up Iniesta role in Spain and compare with what you uploaded.

Most modern day AM play behind a CF as SS

*Yawns*

Forgiveness and irrelevant screenshots again... Typical. Lol

Look man, I don't need screenshots to show me anything. I have watched all players play so I know what I am saying. Using fixed positions from Transfermrkt can be misleading sometimes if you don't actually watch the players. Nwakali is listed as AM on Transfermrkt but watching his games show he has actually been playing deep (CM/DLP) for Huesca in many games since his debut for them.

Ejaria can play AM and CM comfortably so he is no makeshift. Aribo has also played AM and CM comfortably so he is no makeshift either. And Nwakali can also play AM even though he is more a DLP/CM.

That is the summary of the facts that I don't need Transfermrkt screenshots to confirm.

But if you want to play that game, then look below too... grin

Afterall, Eze has not played AM this season so far.... grin

...So I guess that makes him "Makeshift" too. Hahahahaha
