Info from the Super Eagles camp

Tobias Lawal is already impressing Rohr in camp and Rohr is said to want to have a talk with him again about his initial stance on withdrawing from the team. Rohr wants the lad to commit to the team for good and the lad recently said to a close source before turning up in camp that Nigeria remains his first choice even though he initially pulled out. Now that's some positive news.

Time will tell the rest.

On our goalkeepers

Judging from this pics below it is 100% clear that Okoye is the tallest here (from the 1st pic) followed very closely by Tobias (they could even be same height if not for some inches) with the next in height being Alampasu. Yakubu is same height as Alloy Agu (the team's GK Trainer).

Uzoho is definitely the tallest goalie we have. Nice spot earlier again cc12. Well done. wink

Pic 1: Okoye standing as the tallest among all four goalies in Austria. Tobias is very very close to him shaa in height.

Pic 2: Uzoho standing taller than Okoye at a previous camp meet.

The assistant managers of Sunderland James Fowler, who played for 17 years in the Scottish Premier league must have a half brain too.

So also the professional players who all played in the league too.You can see thier screen shots below .

The Scottish league is rated 14 in Europe and it's well accepted that the Scottish league is rated on par with English league one.

Meanwhile the Bulgarian league is rated 27 in Europe almost 13 positions disparity in quality. And for you think that backwaters dark ages league is on par with even English league two.

Don't you think the person with a half brain may be looking at you in the mirror.

Same source convinced the boy about the Eagles even after he initially withdrew and is partly the reason the boy is now in camp. Please stop saying nonsense about what you don't know a thing about just to draw my attention okay. Thank you.

I hope omeruo moves to a better club soon

We cant be having to many division 2 players in the eagles

We pray for ajayi to get promotion with west brom and it works out then ekong self go the same championship

I hope Akpoguma will be starting in that team because he is playing for the best club in all our CB

Akpoguma should be the first name on that CB then maybe Ekong /Ajayi should fight for the remaining spot

I completely and totally disagree
.

Let him train and prove himself to be quality against other players and let the best players get picked.

The question i could ask it's still valid but seems retrogresive.

Do you think if Akpoguma was playing in the championship he would be the stand out CB in the Championship ❓

You could say the same for Omeruo at his peak when he played in the Championship he was outclassed by a teenage Dominic Iorfa.

Awaziem simply would not survive he is too slow. Ekong is now in the Championship and let's see if he will be outstanding.

Consider that Etebo arguably our best Midfielder was not able to carve out a place for himself in the Championship as an outstanding player. But was able to walk straight into Getafe in La Liga.

I see no problems inviting Tosin and lorfa and let them fight and show thier quality and the best players get selected.

More from the Super Eagles camp

Pic 1: The Four Goalies in Camp
(Tobias, Yakubu, Okoye and Alampasu. In the middle is GK Trainer, Alloy Agu).

Pic 2: Mikel Agu and The Nigerian "Roadrunner" Zaidu wink

Never knew Maduka is taller than Dele. Yakubu is just as tall as Enyeama but i hope the height factor doesn't rule him out.
BTW i hope Dele grab every chances thrown at him with both hands. I am banking on him to take the first GK spot.

Iorfa does not have a bad agent.

I absolutely know there are some EPL clubs looking at him as we speak.

Why do they stay in the Championship because it's the first step to the EPL. The money is very good and most would rather stay in England.

I can assure you 100% if Dominic wanted to go to Seria A, Bundesliga and lower level of La Liga he would find a club today.

Look at the number or players leave first tier league in Europe 1st tier league to play in the Championship. That tells you story in itself.

They have been looking at him for past 4 years. Iorfa is below average and will remain as such until he proves otherwise

Very nice spot making reference to Enyeama's height with respect to Yakubu. You are spot on.

And I think with this, we can now bury the previous arguments on who our tallest goalies are.

The man has spent 7 seasons playing in the championship and league one but you are talking about "first step to EPL".. until when will he take his first step?
How many seasons did Tosin and Eze spend in the championship before they took their first step to the EPL??

Abeg!

He chose to stay in the Championship.

He had multiple opportunities to leave when he was a teenager.

This is not an uncommon phenomenon albeit misguided emotive sentiment based one, giving loyalty to the club over career progression.

Solanke has absolutely no affinity for Nigeria.

So they were never in a position to turn the SE down.

So why are you disturbing us about Solanke some years back when Rohr invited Osimhen?

You have started your rubbish, akpoguma is playing in the bundesliga and you are here telling me about the english second tier? wetin consign bundesliga starter and the championship You think any championship defender will even start at hoffeinham ?

Those your favorite players in the championship wont even make any of those german teams

You dey talk wetin i no ask you, what has awaziem got to do with whata i said ?

Etebo was not more of a reguar at getafe and you cant compare the players in getafe and crappy stoke city, they are no match

Am not doubting his ability he is still crude but when he is reform he can be the one of best defender Naija can ever boast of.
But right now he needs to move to be a force to reckon with, but seriously invitation shouldn't be too far from him.

What do you understand by Reach out.

I know a number of Nigerian origin players that Rohr visited and made promises that never came to anything.

I do understand that on getting to Nigeria, there was opposition within the NFF. For reasons l do not wish to speculate on.
My definition of reaching out is contacting, the same thing he and some other members of the FA did with the likes of Billing, Tammy, Eze, Sheyi Ojo, Luke Amos etc.some rejected it while others accepted which is part of football, scouting eligible players is part of international football. Mali reached out to traore and he rejected them, we rolled red carpets in the past for Aogo, Sam and Tammy it turned out worse for us
