I had one carry over.
After that I told myself I would have nothing less than 4.5 in my second semester.
Las Las Las, when the second semester results are out, na 3.71 I saw oo, with another one useless carryover.
This CGPA of a thing na scam.

I studied very hard that semester and i was happy with the strong foundation. I did better in d second and latest semester. Now i can reduce d 100% studying to 50%, I need to learn my course related technical skills before IT. 1st class no guarantee employment.Add value to yourself. Anything 4.0+ is ok for me to end with.

I dont have any. You just dont get it. We've never been taught how to really learn, in school. There's a difference between cramming for tests and learning.

School will never reach you how to learn.

Remember those good ol' days. After coming out of Secondary school with a mad Jamb Score, I had 4.95 in my first semester. All A's and a B in 1unit course. Sadly my second semester result shattered my hopes. It's not over though.
If you're so myopic not to believe, you can put a price and I'll send the result. Maybe I'll even add the Jamb as an extra bonus. Was a brainbox then until I realised the state my Country's heading to.

First semester got 4.76 and wasn't gratefull for it,but subsequent semesters weren't funny at all!, now on 3.96(final) but aiming to graduate with 4...

Better stick to that promise you made yourself.

And most importantly, of lecturers say you should answer "yes" in exam, don't answer "yeah" even if it means the same.

And depending on your lecturer, keep any new knowledge to yourself until after you grad or don't offer his/her course (found out the hard way).

Keeping secrets (if sorting is involved) if you trust the person but the copy verbatim part, you'll have to if you wanna pass some courses.

That was one of the most amazing feeling I ever had, I got all 3As and 4Bs no credit.

No sorting in my dept though. Some courses are just so hard to pass. Even If you ask top students they'll never tell you. Some of them are even surprised that you are able to tell their results from the notice board with their matric numbers only displayed

Relate with them lecturer and do some of them small favours.
Oh and use whatever note they gave in class to answer exam questions and maybe drop some extra answers too.

These tips sometimes works unless the lecturer is hellbent on failing most people.
