Can someone who's done their medicals with IOM please give an insight on how long it takes from start to finish? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by lasignor(m): 12:24am On Oct 08, 2020 |
Gummygummy:You can book the medicals here https://mymedical.iom.int/apps/omas/#_frmHome After you complete the booking, they will send you their bank details for payment. You can send the money to them and hold the transaction receipt or pay at the premise. Regards. |

Hi All For the proof of work experience; what if the letter just says full time without saying the number of hours worked? Is that acceptable? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Nobody: 12:59am On Oct 08, 2020 |
Fortissimo502:not acceptable |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by darlinvalerie(f): 1:58am On Oct 08, 2020 |
you can calculate it yourself For example, I work from 8am to 4pm. thats 8hours daily. so this means i work 40hours a week. Fortissimo502: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Fortissimo502: 2:01am On Oct 08, 2020 |
darlinvalerie: I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean I can include this on a separate document to IRCC? Because the reference letter from the employer does not include this. |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by darlinvalerie(f): 4:52am On Oct 08, 2020 |
I was suggesting you calculate it yourself and ask your referee to add it for you. If its possible, let the person do another reference letter and include this information for you. Fortissimo502: |

isaacola57: so you are saying your one year diploma in a course and 3 years bachelor's degree in another course even after being merged as a 4 yr course was evaluated by wes as 2 certificate? was there a change in your crs scores because of this? if this works, that means I won't have to do advanced diploma then. PS. I entered through foundation to study physiotherapy but I finished with botany. thank you |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Isha113: 5:20am On Oct 08, 2020 |
isaacola57: I was told it will be merged because botany is a 4year course and not 3 years, that's why they will merge my foundation result with my bsc to make it 4 years |

Fortissimo502: The definition of full-time already means u worked at least 30hrs/week. If IRCC is not satisfied, they can call your employers themselves. Not every job is easy to calculate hours worked. Not every job starts n ends from 8-5. Most lecturers /professors only teach for 8 hours per week. Are we now going to say they r part time? But if in d same letter, d lecturer said he/she runs a lab, attend conferences n write papers. The hours you can actually track is 8 hours. how then can u say such letter doesn't meet IRCC standard? Even if the letter said the Prof worked from 8am to 4pm weekdays, that is still an inaccurate information. Some conferences happen over the weekends. If he is editing his research paper by 1am midnight or marking scripts, that is still part of work not covered in his regular working hours. If you can get them to include d hours, please do, but if your case is different, write a letter of explanation at best. It's wrong to just conclude that a letter will be thrown away just because it doesn't include working hours. And yeah, I have seen two letters where they didn't include working hours (still hv d screenshot of d letters). Both of them are in Canada now. |

Good morning, Please I would like to find out if I worked in a family business in the past, do I need to submit a letter of explanation, payment receipts/payslips to support my claim. I have letter of employment and I can only find evidence of two payments in my bank statement showing my salary in my last two months at the business. |

Isha113: Isha113:Mr. Isha, Isaacola57 has told you what to do. Please evaluate your diploma and Bsc with Wes, it will be evaluated positively as two or more certificates. Just yesterday two of my friends who has had their diploma merged with their bachelors in previous evaluation got their positive evaluation after I encouraged them to try again. Isaac also did the same thing. I don't know why you decided to be a doubting Thomas. Go and evaluate your certificate jare. |

Easykay2020:If you had read part 1, you would have gotten the answer to your question. I can't believe that we are still dealing with this question in 2020. The answer to your is YES and it qualifies for two or more certificates with Wes. |

Hello Good Morning i intend using two different Noc's my present place of work; my current and former. My current basically is customer service but its tilted towards some technical aspects i was able to come up with a certain job description which aligns with a technical aspects of my job which actually is what i do at work,i requested a letter of reference and pleaded with them to include it as my job description but they said that they have their own template as to what a customer care rep does and that is what they'll work with As for my other place of work i resigned 2 years ago i can actually use that and provide them with payslips but just that we were paid in cash for the whole time i worked there and my fear is that if the visa officer should ask for bank statement showing salary deposit i wont be able to provide it just pay slip and a letter of reference which they have promised to assist with |
