No matter what stage your pregnancy is. That's dumb to me becos the private hospital I registered before paid different fees according to the stage that u are. After I went the second week, the next appointment was shifted to Monday with mamas that are waddling like me.

Thanks for the response. I am trying to choose between Igando GH and Orile Agege GH. The second is closer but I was told the Igando is better.

I made this post in 2017 how they broke down the costs for us at Igando general so everybody pays it irrespective of the stage of delivery and you are given all the items it covers, they will even tell you in the delivery room that madam this is your delivery pack as they are opening the pack. The account dept peeps do explain in details on that Tuesday of registration, as at last year they still did maybe this coro season affected how they address mothers now

According to what the account peeps told us the first day we registered.

You pay in 3 phases.

1. 17k which covers
Delivery pack- 10k
General investigation(tests) - 3k
Scan -1,500
Folder -500
And some other things I didn't write down


2. 13,200 I think they said this one can be paid after the first one before delivery, it covers
Admission pack
Admission gown
Sitz bath
Sanitary pack
SMS alert ( yeah they send SMS to remind us of
clinic days ) this one is 500naira.
Underlay
Misellenous.
They gave mamas coconut oil to be used in the delivery room and sitz bath after paying this 2nd installment.


3. Delivery
Normal delivery 19,000 ( Diet- 4,500 , accommodation 4,500, balance of delivery pack etc)
C/s - 79k ( theater - 25k, anaestetia -20k, pharmacy- 29k and some other things I didn't write down)

Total is like 50k normal delivery and about 110k for C/s but I believe there are other tests scan or drugs apart from this first set the doc may want you to run or buy later during checkups, you pay for that.

If you are refereed from Health center, you pay 13500 at the first booking instead of 17k.

I have been hearing this , I have not used another GH to judge but have used Igando MCC twice and I must say they are good, very good.

Good morning. Please as anyone experience this before while pregnant. My last LMP was August 16. I did my first scan last week Friday. It shows baby was 8 weeks, 2 days +- 2 weeks.
The next day I slept and woke up to see blood gushed out. I went to repeat scan on Sunday. The machine saw two gestational sac separately. One is not well defined. Scan shows I was 6 weeks , 2 days . Yesterday morning, I saw much blood that the first time coming out without cramps but cloted blood . It was much this time , I was bleeding.
Went for another scan, they saw one gestational sac has collapsed which is why I saw the bleeding.
The sonographer saw another gestational sac with a viable festus measuring 4 weeks and 5 days .
My question is this , is it possible to be pregnant of twins and had one as miscarriage and still carrying the remaining one till delivery . Has anyone experienced this before. I was told to repeat scan in two weeks time . I has a miscarriage at 6 weeks in February this year. All my experience then was totally different from this.
This is strange to me . I need people who have experienced this to help me out. I was advised to be on bed rest at the hospital which am already observing.

Its possible Mama and i have read where a surgery was carried out on a lady to remove one of the twins who wasnt developing well and she carried until delivery. Just follow doctors advice for bed rest now you will be fine. I feel you need to redo this scan, I dnt know but i thought i read like 3 gestational sacs. All th

Yes "baths"(soaking in a bathtub) are forbidden in the first weeks of delivery and while still bleeding.
But what we call baths in Nigeria are actually showers...so I'm not sure if its a miscommunication from the nurses or not.
While in the hospital and the stitches are still on, she's meant to clean up by just washing and drying the heat zones using a wash clothe and antibacterial soap. After stitches are removed she can shower with warm water but pat the incision area dry. The instruction is to keep the area dry..

I took my wife to the hospital after her swollen legs became very painful. It was discovered that her BP was high. So she was admitted and they are talking about Pre-eclampsia.

She was admitted and was treated for six days during which the swollen leg became normal and the high BP also became normal.

I am very thankful for that. Pregnancy is now 35 weeks.

Hello March mamas are we bumping yet my tummy is so small sometimes my SO asks if I’m sure I’m pregnant

Good morning mums and mums-to-be. I'm new here and will like some clarification. I removed my implant on 15th of August and saw a bit of blood on 17/18. For 2 weeks now I noticed some changes in my body indicating I'm pregnant so I did a urine test which showed negative (I did it in the afternoon so I'm not sure if that's why). I later treated myself for malaria since the test was negative. Last week I did another urine test since I was pretty much convinced I'm pregnant and it was positive. The issue I'm having now is determining how far long I am. Does the little blood I saw on 18th of August count as my last period? Is it possible to go for scan now to know (I read that it's not good in the first trimester) or go for blood test (not sure if that can detect how far I am)?

Sorry for the long post o, but my first pregnancy was around 4-5 months before I even noticed. Even though my boy is doing okay I still feel bad for unknowingly taking things that might have been harmful so I'm trying to avoid that.

Baby measuring 39weeks instead of 38weeks with weight 3.9kg. Edd now 14 October

The tightening and weight on the pelvic region is too much now.

I'm always pooing water water poo.

Hahahahaha same two days ago i went for my trekking exercise, got to my destination bought banana just for me to turn back, i kind pooping pressure that held me including tightening of the bump i just stood one
Place till i saw keke and took drop home. It wasn't funny at all.


I don't know whether the nzu ( salty clay) that am licking is the cause.
