Hello everyone. Please will a diploma used to gain admission to 200level via direct entry, be evaluated by WES as a second certificate and count as 2 or more certificates? Please I really need to know if anyone has successfully gotten a positive evaluation for this. Thanks 1 Like 1 Share |

pwityjj: If your ECA report gave a different evaluation from what you're claiming, you will be rejected. Like ednut1 stated, IRCC social media accounts mislead people. The VOs don't base their evaluations or regard messages from those social media accounts. You only need to read stories of Lawyers who went through WES and claimed professional degree when their ECA stated otherwise to understand |

Greetings everyone. I know this question should be asked in the noun thread but I’m not getting any response so I decided to post here. 1. Is NOUN an entirely online program? I mean can I do the entire program online without attending any physical class ? 2. Will the exams be online too ? 3. This answer to this will be dependent on the first two questions above - Can I run masters degree from another country. Let’s assume I’m in Ghana or Kenya. Can I run the noun masters program from there? Anticipating a swift reply. Thanks |

Good morning my people. Please, kindly advise. I recently got my ielts results with L8, R8, S7.5, W7. At 31, with MSc and over 4 years work experience, my CRS score is 464. If I had L8.5 and W7.5, my CRS score is 470. Should I try applying for a remark on L and W? Could you please advise on what I should do? |

ridboy94: 1. NOUN is not entirely an online program especially if you want to run Masters as you will need to be seeing your project supervisor 2. All exams are done physically and stamping of exams slips are done physically too and no one can help you with that as you are required to be there yourself. However, with corona virus, I think exams could be done virtually( not totally sure about that especially with the resumption of schools) And finally, it’s almost impossible to run Masters from another country especially if your supervisor is very strict and demands you coming to his/her office on specific days for project, although some students tend to be lucky with supervisors that could attend to their projects online but still your physical presence will be demanded at some point. Also, bear in mind that nobody can help anyone with stamping of exam slips except YOU. I hope this helps with your questions. Best wishes 1 Like |

wowfactor11: If you're talking about the question asked when filling your profile, they stated there that it's for statistical purposes and won't affect your score. Just fill it truthfully and move on. Use your teaching, you already have the experience so I believe it will count 2 Likes |

Good morning all, Please advise on how to handle this. I joined my previous organization in Nov 2017 as an outsourced staff and later got converted the following year as a new staff with an offer letter /contract to confirm switch. Should I get a reference letter that states all of these including the usual details needed? or let the reference be as it should and include an LOE? The reason I am asking is I have an offer letter from Nov 2017 showing outsourced and 2018 letter as direct headcount. Please advise |

sollie123: Remarking for writing works positively most times but for listening, I'm not so sure because the answers are usually fixed, it's either you got it or you didn't. I would advice you try to write another one. You could take maybe 2 weeks to prepare depending on your schedule but follow it up asap, don't let your brain "cool down" |

Laoluuu: Your chances are pretty low at 383. Get another degree, you have age on your side and if you don't want to spend one or two years pursuing a master's, there are very short Wes approved certificates you could get. Read page 1 1 Like |

The chances of Remarking listening successfully is slim. Also, remarking takes 21 days, if you wait for a remark you will not make it for this month’s draws. Take the IELTS again, computer based if you can. I believe the next draw will be 470 @ probably 3,900/4,200 intakes. sollie123: |

sollie123:I don't think there's a point in remarking your listening since the score hardly changes. You can register again, practice better and max out ielts b4 your next birthday |

Laoluuu:we in the same boat, i'll advise to get a masters or second diploma and rewrite IELTS. you could also explore Pnp options(Alberta, saskatchewan) but your chances will be low. 1 Like |
