I wish, hope and pray...But how many times have we even tried clapping against corruption, unemployment (especially amongst the youth), insecurity and poverty in Nigeria?

If you end SARS for all I care, would it resolve the level of insecurity in the country? 8 in 10 Nigerian youth are either unemployed or underemployed..Why are we not breaking walls for this? Where are our priorities for God’s sake?

Remind me how much is fuel? Remind, what is the exchange rate of Dollar-Naira?

Well said. Wish Nigerian youths could protest against the deep issues affecting the country, such as corruption, extremely high cost of governance (salaries of Nigerian senators and reps especially), high level of unemployment, the same way we're addressing this SARS issue.

In one way or the other, these are core issues that gave rise to societal ills like this SARS menace.

But sadly, Nigerians are docile.

Earnestly hope these protests will yield something good and help reform the police.

(Though personally, I'm yet to see Buhari's leadership demonstrate any strong will to tackle the SARS menace head-on.)

There is RRS in lagos. I don't know if they are present in other states. I have never heard any bad report about that unit and they're even more useful when there's a robbery. Don't they belong to the same police force? SARS can go join the military and everyone will be fine abeg. Those guys are animals

As one who has experienced armed robbery at its peak in our estate b4 sars existf in river state,all the estate guards were killed including 3 mopol officers,my dad had to risk his life by asking us to jump over our own fence while one of the robbers was shooting into the air.It was terrible,not to say the least.On The other hand,i have been stopped by SARS officers thrice,their conduct was very unprofessional but they are way better than armedrobbers.Or is it when greenlanders and icelanders were busy counting scores in abuloma,trans-amadi,diobu and other areas in ph.When you couldn't walk safely on the streets of ph?.
Ending SARS would be giving men of the underworld free rein. Let's not forget that a significant percentage of sars were former "underworld men".At Least with sars,the "underworld is divided".
