What is the difference between a Bricklayer and an Architect who parades himself as a Construction/Building Engineer?
Una wan chop, we understand your stand but house collapse goes beyond the issue of just Engineer or Bricklayer.
Counterfiet Iron rods, Rush to finish before time, remodification of Building Plan without proper Foundation, Architects parading themselves as Builders and Engineers is also a major factor.

At times it is some these Architects who will not stay on their lane of qualification but start dabbling into Building a House and parading themselves as Building Engineer on Nairaland.

all dem human scavengers standing around looking to grab something from other parasites parked in someone's property. seems like village tings follow them to city.

that's enough hands and backs to remove that rubble in a small amount of time.

D state govt gave them building permit. U will see them pasting all sorts of stop work orders in lekki-ajah axis for healthy buildings. In d end, it's all about settlement

You should say qualified Engineer, A building that collapsed close to my area in 2015 was supervised by an engineer, though the building was still under construction thank God no life was lost cause it happened at night. What of the new Central hospital that some part collapsed during construction and killed the Italian Engineer?
