Algeria sef should be ashamed they played a Nigerian team made of 40% debutants/long time returnee a shambolic and meagre 1-0, if they could stressed themselves till 90mins to fortunately beat us 2-1 last year then they played rubbish on Friday(Afcon champion)..they just luckily headed home a corner against a team trying to Gel and struggle till the end..that game was to be a potential draw 0-0...All the same sha they were slightly better than us that night 1 Like |

Hopefully, one day, people on here will learn to stop with this tribalism bs. If nothing else, this end sars protest should show us that it's only politicians that benefit from it and that is why they always encourage it. |

Ejuke is young but like i said earlier, you can't be a professional footballer from Nigeria and not falsify your age.. Even if it's a year or two Sehlah 1 Like 1 Share |

minfelix:it's an excuse by insinuating that it's because about 40% of players weren't regular players, the same can be said for the Algeria team as well. In 90 minutes of play the SE players were clueless, couldn't create chances and were mostly on the back foot, anyway it's in the past now and we should focus on the Tunisia. |

What the hell does potential mean, after the fact? We were terrible simple. Wetin concern you with Algeria? Your 40% argument is not true. It wasn't even 30%. Only M Okoye, Sanusi and Onyeka were started as debutants. Infact ultimately we should be talking about the outfield players. Only two of them debuted. So please. We were terrible. Just 2 new outfield players, and we were that disorganized. We couldn't create clear cut chances. Rohr Out. minfelix: |

komekn: Many of us don't watch league 1, only you do. I've seen Onyedinma once or twice at Millwall, nothing special. At least, oforboh has an appearance in the EPL. What has Onyedinma done this season thus far? Has e done better than Oforboh? How many people are singing Nwakali praises here? They are not up to 5, I've never been one of them, I don't rate him and I don't expect him to be in our team anytime soon. |

benji93: Oga we weren't any terrible, 1-0 is not being Terrible, especially knowing that's not our regular/standard starting 11, the Algerians were jus slightly ahead...they are the Afcon champs, while we fielded players we won't field on a normal day in competitive game...u guys should calm down...rohr out rohr out,.. Karlovich: We couldnt create chances....so all our chances I watched dat day were our defenders testing our goalkeeper? 1.Simon came in and managed to disturb their box 18 2.Ebuehi was trying long range effort and crossing balls into d box 3. Tijani came in a made anoda short at goal 4. Iheanacho's last minute free kick was almost a hit 5. Iwobi was also trying to create chances Once 9ja jus looz a match like dis, immediately all of u will jus com out with your destructive criticism as if.... 6 Likes |

Man, you mean the Algerian team that was useless too? You sure say no be black and white TV you dey watch? . You better wake up from your dreams. We are in 2020. Besides 4 of the Algerians were not at the last nations cup, and so they must have had their own chemistry issues. As terrible as they were, they c4reated a number of chances. Our players weren ot creating anything meaningful in the final third. minfelix: 1 Like |

Icon79: Stop letting emotions cloud your reasoning. Rohr qualified us for AFCON and WC, that is good, we thank him, but you must agree that Rohr's fear-fear tactics is making him underutilize this team. Rohr makes it look like we are worse than we are. Our major problem is that Rohr sets up his team to avoid pressing for the ball, sit back and hope for a lucky counterattack. Please look again at the first half of the game against Ukraine where Rohr mistakenly allowed our players to press high and play attacking football. Didn't you see a difference?. Rohr's previous achievements were not due to any tactical brilliance on his part but to the occasional brilliance of a few of his players, chiefly Victor Moses. Since Moses left what the hell has Rohr's team been playing?. An AFCON where at that group stage we played disgusting football, barely edging two lowly ranked teams 1-0 and then capped it off with a loss to MADAGASCAR!?. Only in the game against Cameroon can we credit Rohr with any manner of brilliance. Against S.A we needed Chukwueze's freak mistaken goal and a late minute header to win. Against a relatively disciplined and well coached Algeria, Rohr's lack of strategic prowess was clear for all to see. Our team is average, but Rohr is average too. |

cc12:Ah we miss Mikel... It's a pity we only have a scout in Rohr and not a coach. The faxt that your players are struggling to trap the ball and string passes together says a lot about you as the coach. |

forgiveness: I actually don't know why we care so much about age. I don't know. He lied about his age, okay, so what? I'm not justifying that they do what's right, but we dwell far too much on players age than necessary. If a player is good, hype him. If he's bad, trash him. Don't talk about his age like it's a thing. A lot of players don't blow until their late 20s, so I don't get why we bother about the age like it's a yardstick for performing |

minfelix:lol, say what you want, the Nigerian team was very terrible on that day, the shots on goal you mentioned were all off target, Simon Moses couldn't deliver a good cross in the minutes he spent on the pitch. Facts don't care about your feelings. I love the Super Eagles and sincerely hope they do well against Tunisia on Tuesday. |
