BascoVanVeli: hope you're not talking about okiki okiki has nailed his spot in LASK who are competing in the europa league he is only in the reserve team so as to make him fit and not match rusty in the coming weeks there is high probability he will be their No.1 2. okoye might be struggling in Sparta Rotterdam I mean this is first season he is the second choice goalkeeper he plays in all the pre season games and was fantabulous and as it stands now he will likely be their No.1 coz they are having GK issues and suré his coach will be happy with his performance against Algeria |

smartsmith0907:@the bolded, based on what? So you will pick Tobias that has not even play a single match for us? The fact that they play in higher level doesn't prove anything. Maduka was playing at a very lower level when he got called up, I demanded the rationale behind his invitation and someone on this thread told me it is because he do like and comment on NFF posts on Twitter and Instagram. So the higher level talk shouldn't come into play here. If you're good, you're good. 2 Likes 1 Share |

mostob: 1. tobias has been awesome since day 1 in training he is in contention for No.1 lask first team and 100% sure he will be their number GK have you watched Tobias ?? I guess not, coz you won't have even talked about him in this manner watch out for in his Europa game against Spurs 2. okoye ;- his invitation was osihmen, chidebere, tijani and onyeka kind of invitation do all these player merit it when They were all invited hell No!!! Okoye was invited coz there was no depth in the GK department uzoho too was just a 19 player playing in the second team of deportivo LA Coruna then all these players were playing at a low level but the coach saw potential in them and invited them and mind you the likes of aiyenugba and osigwe were all playing in a better than Uzoho yet he was invited no caps Okoye is talented and full of potentials talents doesn't lie thats why he could move from German 4th division to eredivise in just a season that a big progress for me and he is the second goalkeeper and he is pushing for the No.1 spot he deserves the No.1 spot they are having GK issue in Rotterdam and am sure his coach will proud of the performance he put against world class player like mahrez. 2 Likes |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Kog45(m): 8:48am On Oct 13, 2020 |
smartsmith0907:Sir goalkeeping is all about trust and I want to tell you Maduka am watching is not better than Alampasu, pls on what criteria. It is a pity we are having issues in our goalkeeping department and Alloy Ago has failed us in discovering talented goalkeeper that can be nurtured like what Amusa Adisa did with Vincent Enyeama,Austin Ejide and Dele Aiyenigba Rohr just believe in Maduka and having him in goalposts against Tunisia is a welcome development cos it will boost his confidence. Maduka,Tobia,Yakubu,Alampasu are average with Uzoho slightly above due to his experience. Honestly for now I will pick Uzoho and let the rest prove that they can be trusted... good luck to Maduka cos today's match will cement his place in SE as Number two. 2 Likes |

mostob:he is the coach and you're a spectator. He does not need to prove anything to you or to show you what they can offer, you're not with them on the training field okay? If he fumbles, he is the one that gets sacked by NFF not you. You people should allow him do his job jare. |

smartsmith0907:Bro, all you wrote here are biased analyses. Remember you gave a report of how Yakubu have been good in training too especially his footwork, you reported how good Dele has been with his reflexes. Fact is these guys have been invited already so giving them time to prove themselves is a no brainer. Are you now telling me they don't have potential too? @ the first bolded, you already contradicted your earlier claim of Okoye playing in a higher level, that was why he is clearly ahead. @ the second bolded, one thing you should know is, that call up and his brief cameo against Brazil might have indirectly influence his move to Rotterdam. It is not as if he pulled an Oliver kahn I think it will really make sense if Rohr can test all the GKs rather than putting all his eggs in one basket. |

I am afraid, you may have to do better than this. Provide your source. The acquisition of a Nigerian passport doesn't necessarily mean commitment. it could mean the individual wanted more options. It's in human nature to want that. Karlovich: |

What a bunch of crap. What a bunch of crap. Be careful. Be careful. You have just wriiten off and condemned goalkeepers you are yet to test. Na only you know. Speak for yourself. Maduka is warming the bench at Sparta. . The coach won't even feature him in cup matches. smartsmith0907: |

I am absolutely furious bout this goalkeeper issue. Is that not the logical thing to do? If na keeper get problem we go know say na keeper get problem. Some of una dey talk say we go complain if we lose again. Yes we will. The last time we lost Maduka wasn't even properly tested. The Algerians were not good, we only took 'not good' to another level. . You called three goalkeepers for friendly matches and you won't test the other 2.Se dis Baba get coaching qualifictions sha? We sure say this guy na German so? . This looks as if he's setting himself up for failure. Why would any coach do something like this. Abi na fake news ni? . |

BascoVanVeli: lemme give you an indepth analysis of these players 1. Uzoho ( APOEL) plays in Cyprus which is rated 16 by UEFA league rating:- uzoho came to the limelight in 2017 after becoming the youngest foreign Goalkeeper in LA liga and he consistent over the years from his move from deportivo to Elche to anorthosis and now APOEL he has been playing continuously have never heard Uzoho been out for months without playing unless he is injured 2. Okoye (Sparta Rotterdam) plays in Netherlands which is rated 10 according to UEFA league ranking ...okoye is the most undermined player here and damn underrated who ever says Okoye was invited coz he was commenting of NFF post that person is a nonentity and he is BALNTANT liars coz Okoye earned his invitation and was merited lemme give his synopsis He started in Bayern Leverkusen and moved to Fortuna in 2017 he came to the limelight whe he SINGLE HANDEDLY save his team from relegation( oberliga ) making 5 appearances with 4 clean sheet and conceding just a goal who ever follow regionaliga will tell you how difficult it is to concede a goal in 4 matches vonsidering the scoring spree in the league this was when rohr discovered him In the 2018/2019 season, he became the club regular goalkeeper. He finished the season with 15 appearances, conceding 25 goals and keeping 3 clean sheets. this stat is very impressive considering his age and exposure at that time now he is in Sparta Rotterdam pushing for a No.1 spot 3. okiki LASK playing in Austria Ranked 12 according to UEFA league ranking :- I have a kinda close link with him coz have been following him since age 8 during his days in Asko donau linz he came to the limelight in 2017 when he broke into LASK junior he went on 46 game spree and went to wels having 8games on his belt now he is in LASK first team playing a UEFA Competition and he will soon be their first choice considering his performance in his last match now compare these players with alampasu who has played a total sum of 6 games since December 30 2015 till date international match included https://www.footballcritic.com/dele-alampasu/profile/65554 and played for ventspils which is currently 36 according to UEFA league ranking so my broda the trio has been consistent over the years and are playing right now in a better league than alampasu I understand you're a fan but his time will surely come 4 Likes |

JohnBullMySon: Did you see me say anything bad against the players after the Algeria game? We want to see the two goalkeepers because we heard they performed better than Okoye in training. Why is he trying to block us from assessing them? Perhaps, Rohr has made up his mind on Rohr hence wouldn't want these players to play else they perform well and it becomes hard to drop Okoye. |

smartsmith0907: Let us assess them with our own eyes to ascertain and determine if truly Okoye, Uzoho and Okiki are better than Alampasu and Yakubu else it's all same antics used by biased and prejudice coaches to block a better player from playing else he performs better than his choose player. This fellow think they are smart but all I see is prejudice. 1 Like |

mostob: Bro I feel you personally ill advise rohr to play all the GKs but playing him doesn't change the fact he might not been invited in November the odds are low Just I said alampasu and yakubu has been fantastic no caps and I told y'all how okoye fumbled and concede 4 but right now the table has turned in the subsequent mini match okoye found his form and started the Algeria match thats football And concerning okoye's transfer Brazil means little or nothing to his transfer the move is merited coz he has a very good agent and close ties between the fortuna and sparta thats all. Yakubu might be a second half substitute he might start today rohr is very unpredictable I made the formation based on what I know and heard thats all. I don't have a favorite among all these players am just an analyst |

smartsmith0907: You and coaches should stop deceiving yourselves. Are Okoye and Okiki the first choice goalkeeper in their respective clubs? When Alampasu was the second choice goalkeeper in the Portuguese league, he was not preferred neither was he called because they claimed he was not playing but fast forward, Okoye who is a second choice goalkeeper is preferred to a goalkeeper who is starting for his club. I have said before that selection of players into the national team is based on sentiment. Double standard is all I see. |

Oga no dey speak big big English abeg. Na simple minds dey here. . The last time i checked Maduka is yet to feature for even a cup game. Even when first keeper dey concede 4 goals, dem no gree put am inside. . The only thing that's for sure is that Maduka started a significant portion of Dusseldorf II's matches, which competes as as a 3rd-tier German league, before his move to Eredivisie. smartsmith0907: |
