Yes it will work. You prepare it the same way you cook oha. The only difference is the leaf. Replace oha with ukazi.

Yes you can use dry ukazi, that’s what I used. All you need to do is soak it in hot water to soften it before adding it to the soup.

Ingredients:

Beef, Goat meat or cow leg(I used cow leg)
Dried fish if you have any
Stock fish
Offor or Achi ( depends or which one is available)
Pepper
Seasoning
Salt
Crayfish
Red oil
Ukazi
I also used mushroom

Directions
Wash, Season and boil your meat, stock fish and dried fish together (if you live outside Naija, so that they cook soft enough) for 15mins. Add oil and allow to simmer for 7 mins, add water to your desired quantity. Allow to cook for 5 mins, add your achi or offor (Note: the quantity of achi or offer you add depends on if you want the soup thin or thick

Allow to cook for 2 mins, add pepper and crayfish. Cook for 2 mins, add the washed ukazi check for salt, seasoning and adjust to your taste. Cook for 3 mins and it’s ready.

The End grin grin grin

Modified: if you are using goat meat or cow leg, you will have to cook longer to soften, I used pressure pot to cook mine before transferring to another pot.
