US have its own classification , same for europeans, russia, chinese ect... so no need to continue the debate on this sterile subject

A recent corolla will have a lot of features that the a 1980 Camry doesn't have.

To be sincere it might be better in everything because of the improvements in technology over time. and for this reason the other guys too have a point.
So Aradu can't do what the meko200 will do because it will carry better sensors, sonar, radar, weapons generally even better helicopter.

I never argued that Aradu wasn't a destroyer, I simply stated that the Meko360 and Meko200 are in the same class.

It's Dragon2 that claimed Aradu is somehow more effective and independent when it comes to full 4 dimensional warfare vs the Meko200...... This is what I had a problem with since it is entirely not true.

Im not disagreeing if its a destroyer or frigate, every country has a different doctrine on how they classify ships, HOWEVER what I have a problem with was dragon2 stating the Meko200 is not as independent or capable as the Meko360(taking age into account) because it lacks in ASW(because apparently it only has 4 torpedoes) hence its a Frigate vs Aradu which is a "mini Destroyer".........this statement is entirely baseless and untrue.

Even by today's standards the Meko200 more specifically the Meko200AN is as heavily armed as ships twice its tonnage.
